We had the fortune of spending a day out with our daughter's family at this attraction. From the word go it had a friendly family orientated feel and it got better and better. We spent the whole day there and at no time were we lost for something new and interesting. Our grandsons (9 years and nearly 2 years) were delighted with the experience and the ability to handle some of the animals, (especially the wallabies), added a different dimension to the day. The restaurant and ice cream parlour were very reasonably priced and other facilities were all to a high standard. All in all a very good day out.

Enjoyed this visit.. Strolled around feeding all the ducks, geese and swans, then watched some of the keeper led displays... Penguin feeding and parrot flight. Knowledgeable staff, enjoy their work and all the birds are in great condition and well cared for.
Cafe was nice and clean and food good quality and reasonably priced.

If you want to see lions and tigers, you definitely need to visit the zoo as this attraction is mainly ducks, penguins and wallabies, but if you want a day where your children can get close to the animals I'd highly recommend this centre. My children were able to feed swans, ducks and penguins, they hugged wallabies and played with guinea pigs and ferrets in the pets corner. The surroundings are beautiful, the animals all seem genuinely happy and relaxed and are extremely tame. The staff really make this place, though. They gave informative talks, interacted pleasantly and naturally with children of all ages and were able to answer all questions. The staff really seem to care about the visitors and seem to actually like children, unlike staff at some attractions. The gift shop and cafe are also nice and reasonably priced, too.

Lots of Birds, geese, ducks etc wandering about quite freely and only too happy to gobble up the food you can buy on the way in.However the stars of the show for me are the Wallabys and Penguins particularly at feeding time both very entertaining. Lots more to see from Meerkats to Otters , have spent several pleasent afternoons there with my family.
