“Needles not pins”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014 via mobile

A great day out car park is limited and there is a charge but you do get a book of vouchers there is lots to see and do here little shops food places a chairlift to the beach great views on them but have to queue a viewing tower for the needles and a boat ride to go and see them
You have to buy vouchers to go on the rides etc so if in a family buy plenty as you will quickly run out don't forget the open top bus ride up to the top to see the view food and drink are reasonable and there is glass blowing not much fun but the sweet factory is very interesting

“Enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2014

Visited the Needles as part of a coach tour so didn't have to pay for parking. There are various shops at the entrance including a sweet shop, gift shops, glass shop - lovely items of glassware available and demonstrations. It does seem to be a bit of a money making area, but we just went on the chair lift to the beach and back £4 return, £2 single. This was worth it for the view and the experience and it was funny counting the number of hats along the cliff which had blown off the chair riders! The beach was pebbles and you could see the coloured cliffs and the Needles in the distance. There is also a boat trip you can take to go out to see them better.

“Good honest family day out.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2014

Excellent family day out. Pay initially for parking (£4.00 per day) and then only pay for the attractions that you want play/visit. Visit on a Thursday when they have fireworks in the evening and you will full entertainment all day.

A lovely drive to see the Needles only to find a money grabbing operation based there!!!! And £4 to park ... errr no ty ... shame on you whoever let these idiots set up this monstrosity at what was a beautiful location... and block off access to such a wonderful landmark.

Many thanks for your feedback. Car parking at The Needles is just £4 for a whole day, or the equivalent of £1 per person based on a family of four people. For those guests arriving by public transport, or on foot or by pedal bike, entry to the site remains completely free of charge. This car parking fee enables us to care properly for our wonderful natural landscape, as well as keeping our free public facilities operational 365 days per year. Likewise, on arrival at The Needles Park, every car receives an offer booklet which gives over £5 in free admissions, rides, games and retail gifts. Should guests choose to take advantage of these deals, they fully offset the £4 car parking charge. If you wish to discuss your review further, then please do not hesitate to contact us via The Needles website.

“Fantastic Family Day Out!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

We visited The Needles Park with our almost-6-year-old and all three of us had a great day! Chairlift, boat trip, sweet demo and carousel were all highlights but the whole day was brilliant. Good family-friendly food, loads to do and a beautiful setting. Also took the open top bus tour to The Needles Battery - well worth the trip, again enjoyed by us all.
