Don't understand some of the reviews below. We went to this venue twice during our week's stay on the Isle of Wight. The first time we couldn't play golf because there was a competition taking place, so we just had a cream tea which was delicious. We went back at the end of the week and had a fun game of golf and then another cream tea. The owner was friendly, helpful and informative. There was a small selection of local crafts for sale and the whole place was spotless. Would definitely recommend it.

Visit here was planned purposely to play pitch and putt on this delightful short course. We were not at all disappointed. The lady owner was a pleasure to meet and talk to. As we had taken a packed lunch we did not partake refreshment that was on offer. The cakes looked delicious! We would certainly visit again next time we are on Isle of Wight.

Visited here with a group of friends on the way back from the Needles. We were greeted by a helpful lady who I presume owned the place who told us about the course and gave us a small discount for being in a group.
The course is quite good but the wind from the bay does make it a bit challenging at times, but adds to the fun! There were enough holes to keep the group entertained for just under an hour at a leisurely pace.
Once done we headed back to the on-site cafe for tea and cake. As there were a few of us we were offered free refills in our teapot and even blankets to keep us warm. The owner even offered me a hot water bottle for my legs as it was quite windy!

Overall the place was a nice enjoyable end to the day, we walked up from the Needles, but there was ample parking. Would recommend it to anyone heading back/to the needles.

Have visited a few times and always had a very friendly reception and found the owner to be very helpfull. The little shop and cafe are clean and well presented and have a nice little selection of local crafts despite it only being small. A lovely cream tea is served, and blankets are provided incase the breeze is a little chilly. A very thoughtful touch.
The view is beautiful and the pitch and putt course always looks well cared for. Yes it is on a slope but that adds to the fun!!
I will return and would recommend it to others.

I won't tell the whole story of our visit to Needles View suffice to say my experience was absolutely identical to that described by marsayk below. My partner and I were shocked by the barrage we came under when we came to have a look at what cafe was offering. Yet another 2 potential local repeat customers alienated by the owner's aggressive behaviour. We have advised all our friends not to go here. I advise you to do the same. The sooner the current owner finds a new career path and sells this business to somebody who understands the term 'customer service' the better. If you're looking for good food and service pop in to Warren Farm or The Sugar Loaf in Freshwater where they know how to speak to customers.
