Loved Beach Cottage from the minute I opened the door. Location is stunning and the house is superbly equipped for guests. I loved the pictures on the walls and must mention the quality of the kitchen equipment. Location is superb and the neighbours we spoke to were friendly and welcoming. All in all a delightful place to stay on a lovely island.
We enjoyed every thing about this holiday, from the mini- cruise from Southampton to the outings to the Needles. We loved staying in Beach cottage and could quite easily live there. The location suited us (78 and 84years old ) well. There was nothing to obscure the view across "watership down and the rabbits" to the sea. We could walk into Yarmouth easily and enjoyed the walks through the woods and to the Fort Victoria. The cottage was delightful, from the big comfortable bed to the cosy sitting room with a roaring log fire. I am sure that the gardens in front and behind the cottage would be a great asset in warmer temperatures and we will come again to find out.
We stayed at Beach cottage in November it was so cosy in the cottage lovely wood burner comfy furniture and bed. Extremely well fitted kitchen with everything you needed. We had our two dogs with us and there are lots of great walks nearby. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack. Would we stay here again.... yes
Lovely, cosy cottage with the most amazing view and tucked away location, including parking which is a bonus of the island. The cottage is well fitted out with everything you could wish for to make a home from home - highly recommended
Just returned from a week in this lovely cottage. It is very nicely decorated throughout and very well equipped. The views are amazing, looking out across The Solent from the lounge and master bedroom. Beach is a few minutes walk from the front door which was perfect for walking our little dog on every day. We didn't really walk in the country park at Fort Victoria, preferring to be on the beach, although we understand it to be very nice. Dog owners should be cautious as we were told that there are adders here. Yarmouth is only about 15 minutes walk away along the water and is a lovely place to go for refreshments/meal. Crabbing is also a very good way to spend some time with the kids in Yarmouth. This was our first time on the Isle of Wight and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Beach Cottage, which was perfect for exploring all over the Island. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone.
My husband, myself and our two young children enjoyed a fabulous short break at Beach Cottage, Fort Victoria.
The cottage is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you'd need for a self catering holiday.
Shops, bars and restaurants are either a very short walk or drive and the area is perfect for exploring on foot or in the car.
It's perfect for a what we wanted which was a relaxing family break in a beautiful setting.
Mark and Natasha were also very helpful hosts and I would/have recommended to all our friends
