“Cafe with Awesome Views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

Good coffee on a warm day by the sea. Didn't try the food but plenty of people eating. The best things has to be the view towards Hurst Castle and across the Solent all helped by a sunny day. Good place to stop off if you are in the area and/or walking along the coast around Yarmouth.

“Lovely Food and a Scenic View at Fort Victoria Country Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

This little cafe has a varied menu and indoor and outdoor seating. The food is freshly made and the cakes are lovely. It does snacks and lovely ice cream as well.Fort Victoria is a little off the beaten traack but is a delightful spot to see the yachts with a splendid view over to the mainland and Hurst castle. There are woods, the sea, a planetarium and an aquarium as well as a model railway to visit. Whether it is wet or sunny there is something to do and the cafe is a real find. And the parking is free!!!!

“Great service and lovely setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014

We were made to feel really welcome and the friendly staff went out of the way to serve us despite turning up at 3.30pm for lunch! They shared out the last two portions of their special (yummy, homemade corned beef hash) between the 3 of us and gave us chips and salad to make it up.) The café seemed nice inside but were lucky enough to be able to sit out in the sunshine and the setting is beautiful with a great view of Hurst Castle & Lymington. Delicous ice-creams too. (Be warned though, you can't pay by card - the staff were great and gave us directions to the nearest cashpoint in Yarmouth, along with the promise that they would save us the lunches we wanted - which they did!)

“Jubilee Chips”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 September 2013

We only stopped in for a snack while we were at Fort Victoria and had the Jubilee Chips - chips with cheese and bacon - yum!

The staff were friendly and kept the place clean.

“What a view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2013

Right by the sea in the lovely ort Victoria. We love to sit on the terrace at the rear and enjoy the food and the sunshine when we are lucky. Staff are friendly and helpful and our little dog is welcome. Inside the café is in the old fort and the décor is very interesting and comfortable. Nice food at a reasonable price in a lovely location.
