“Ab Fab”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

We have just returned from Norton Grange after a lovely five days over on the Isle of Wight. We had a standard plus chalet which was a good size, very clean and a lovely bathroom. The food was extremely good with something for everyone - a really good menu. All the staff there are so friendly and will do anything to help you whatever the problem - but we had no problems.

The entertainment was extremely good and all the team work so hard not just at night for the shows but during the day as well. They are all so happy and this includes all staff in the dining room, the kitchens, the cleaning staff. Everything we found to be kept very clean all over the site.

We have been in four/five star hotels and not had such a great time. Many thanks to all the staff on Norton Grange.

Room Tip: We had D006

Thank you for your 'Ab Fab' review!

I am thrilled that you had such a great time with us. We work very hard to ensure that our guests expectations are exceeded, and many of our loyal guests return time and time again as a result.

We are very lucky with a stunning location, a fabulously talented team and sun that shines all year round (well, two out of three ain't bad!). We are currently enjoying some wonderful weather and Norton Grange really is at its best, so come back soon!

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome on your return,

Kind Regards,

Scott King

From arrival to departure staff were courteous, helpful and available. The location was great. A realistic 10 minute walk to Yarmouth. A 15 to 20 minute stroll to Fort Victoria and the nature trail. We booked specifically for the entertainment which was first class. The show provided by the entertainment team was the best we have ever seen at the many Warners stays. The sepeciality acts were also extremely good.
As for the resort although looking a little tired our room was spotlessly clean, well supplied and the accommodation was adequate. The domestic staff went that extra mile to help and were friendly without being intrusive.
What let the resort down for us was the evening meal. The dining room was very full and the tables overly close. For vegetarians the choice was extremely poor. Breakfast by contrast was excellent with varied choice and the service rapid.

My wife and I wanted to get away for the Bank Holiday weekend. The IofW is not too far from where we live, and the Village's seaside location sounded fabulous.

We actually had a great time. If we were 15 years older and/or disabled, we'd probably have rated this venue at least 4 stars, and possibly 5. It just didn't match what we were looking for.

Norton Grange is in a lovely location, and the chalets are clean and comfortable. As previous reviewers have noted, the beds are great. Apart from a disappointing, boring Ploughman's Lunch (ordered at the bar), the food was very good indeed - marvellous breakfasts and evening meals. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble for them.

Just beware - if you are younger than 70, and in good health, you could find better accommodation elsewhere. However, if you are either older or infirm, this place would be ideal for a super holiday.

Room Tip: Some chalets have decking terraces - worth asking for. Also, some chalets enjoy afternoon/evening su...

We've just arrived back from a long weekend at Norton Grange. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised, especially after reading the more negative reviews on TA.
We travelled out as a family, needing four separate chalets. We were placed in Freshwater block. The chalets we had were very clean and spacious. Plenty of hanging and draw space. The bathroom was spotless and the bed quite comfy. We had tea and coffee in the room and a full sized ironing board and iron. The park was very clean, but there really wasn't a lot to do.
The food was ok, I've had a lot better, but I've also had a lot worse. It was pleasant but not remarkable. But I have to say the staff were exceptional, especially our waitress Lyndsay. She was such a sweetie, a really lovely lady.
The only thing that if really did not enjoy was the awful cheesy evening entertainment. It was cringingly awful. That would be the one thing that would really put me off returning.

Just returned from a great first visit to Norton Grange. Had a really excellent weekend. Excellent food, friendly and very helpful staff. Our room, although in the Standard range, was very clean and had everything we needed. Very enjoyable and we have booked to go again this year. The entertainment was first class, and a big thank you to all the staff for making our first visit an enjoyable one

Thank you for your 'brilliant' review, and for recognising the hard work and attentive service by our talented team, including Jack and Sylvia.

I do hope you will return again this year. We have a great programme of entertainment and themed weekends, and some fabulous 'in house' shows performed by our incredible entertainment team. We have great deals for October/ November too, which include a half price ferry at the moment, but demand will be high, so book early!

Just got back from Easter Weekend at Warner's Norton Grange. We had a brilliant time. I was n't certain that I would enjoy Warner's but it was great. We did Archery, shooting, used the Gym. Wine tasting, played table tennis, used the pool and Sauna and enjoyed all the entertainment in the evening. Food was lovely, staff could nt be more helpful. Room was good and even got an Easter Egg from Warner's. I can't fault anything except my three days ended too soon. Can't wait to go back. Also met some lovely people, every where you went people said hello and a had a little chat. I laughed with people all weekend. What a tonic, even the rain did nt spoil anything.

Thank you for your 'great' review, it was a real pleasure to read.

You will also be relieved to know that I have found a solution to your problem ('the holiday ended too soon'). Book a 4 night break! Or better still, stay for a week! We have some amazing deals for October/ November (including a half price ferry deal at the moment!) and we would be delighted to have you back.

If you call our warm hearted team on 01983 760323, I am sure they will find you something special so that you can come and enjoy this stunning location all over again, and hopefully without the rain!

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome back soon,
