This is a hidden gem that won't be so hidden for long. Although only open for less than two years(?), this b&b is run so impeccably well, you'd think that running this b&b was a multi-generation family business.

Nestled in beautiful hills and woods, the Welsh Hills Inn has become our getaway for my "birthday weekend extravaganza" for the past two years...and may become our family tradition.

Bobbi and Jeff are the most attentive, thoughtful hosts, who make every effort to provide you with all the comforts of home. The food is outstanding, and the evening wine and cheese cannot be skipped. Whether we were sitting by the fireplace enjoying our coffee before breakfast, or having a glass of wine in the pool house, we were completely relaxed.

If you have a question about an area restaurant or shop, your hosts will provide you with a helpful answer. If they don't know, they'll find out.

The home itself is lovingly decorated. If you are a fan of gorgeous original artwork, you'll find amazing pieces everywhere. I sometimes just wandered into a room to look at a painting or a sculpture.

You will not find a better B&B experience in Ohio, or perhaps the midwest... Yes, it's that good.

What a pleasant experience. My husband and I found the Welsh Hills Inn absolutely perfect for a place to stay on a quick overnighter. As a matter of fact, we were disappointed we didn't have more time to enjoy all the wonderful amenities the inn provided. The warmth and hospitality of Jeff and Bobbie was more than you could ask for. We felt right at home. Needless to say, we enjoyed every aspect of our short stay, from the afternoon tea, the wine, cheese and crackers, the snack before bedtime and the lovely fire in the fireplace on our return from dinner. The Inn was top notch to match any Ritz Carlton Hotel. Definitely an excellent rating in our book. Would return. Patty and John, Warren, Ohio

I booked a surprise birthday get-away for my boyfriend at The Welsh Hill Inn. The trip turned out to be so much more than expected! The lovely owners, Jeff and Bobbi, made us feel at home in their lovely, peaceful Inn. I was taken by the tastefully decorated surroundings, the comfortable bed and the delicious homemade breakfast. We plan a return trip to enjoy the pool and other outdoor amenities once the weather turns warmer.

Every January we look for a place to get-away from the busyness of family and work and make plans for the new year. We are so glad we chose The Welsh Hill Inn this year! We couldn't spend time on the spacious front porch or swim in their lovely pool because of the cold weather, but the fresh snow and the beauty of their surroundings were a close second!
Every part of the house is decorated with such exquisite taste. We felt free to visit with Jeff & Bobbi or to enjoy the solitude of the pool house to do our planning. Each morning we were greeted with a homemade breakfast made to our liking ....fresh coffee and tasty tea from the tea shop in town. Jeff & Bobbi have every detail covered at this B&B, we will most definitely be back!

Room Tip: We enjoyed the Suite because of the spaciousness of the room. The small porch connected to the room...

My husband and I spent a lovely anniversary weekend at the Welsh Hills Inn. Jeff arranged for a carriage ride around the main streets.on what was a perfect snowy evening to see the Christmas lights and decorations. Back at the Inn we enjoyed a delicious candlelight dinner which Bobbi and Jeff prepared and ended with a wonderful berry pie, at my husband's request. In the morning, breakfast was just as delicious. The home is lovely and the host and hostess could not be more charming and welcoming. It was a delightful stay which we intend to repeat with some regularity!

The Welsh Hills Inn is a lovely B&B sitting on 15 acres of (moslty) wooded land. The house is surrounded by porches, has beautiful views, and the breakfasts were excellent. Bobbi and Jeff (owners) are a wonderful, outgoing couple who are easy to relax with and talk to. My husband and I went for a much needed weekend getaway and could not have asked for a more relaxing and comfortable place to visit. The house is super clean and the bed is very comfortable. Relaxing in the evenings with wine and cheese in front of a cozy fire is also a treat. This is the first B&B that my husband and I have truly felt comfortable in (and we have visited many). I look forward to going back and visiting. This is defintely a place that anyone would love.

My girlfriend and I checked into The Welsh Hills Inn on a snowy evening just after Christmas. The setting was idyllic, replete with their Golden Retriever meeting us car side. We were the only guest there that evening, and we enjoyed some much needed solitude fireside, with wine, cheese and sweet treats.

The accommodations were superb, and the breakfast the following morning was delicious.

The host (live-in owners) were as charming and sweet as the atmosphere, and we would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Sincerely,

Chip Parrish
