What a gem! What a find! The Welsh Hills Inn is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. I guarantee any discerning traveler will be more than impressed with this exceptional property. The hospitality and ambiance was magnificent. Bobbi and Jeff made us feel "at home" the moment we arrived. I hope we have the opportunity to return - I'd love to enjoy all four seasons here.

My husband and I have a blended family with 7 children and little time to do things for ourselves. The Welsh Hills Inn run by Jeff and Bobbi Noe was the perfect get away for us. The home is so tastefully decorated without being over done that anyone would feel at home in its surroundings. I felt as though I was walking through a magazine! The food was absolutely awesome! My only regret is our stay was too short. We plan to return in the summer so we can take advantage of the pool.

Room Tip: Talk with Jeff or Bobbi as they can best advise you.

Five stars are not enough to rate this property. This exquisite house, amidst beautiful surroundings, has an understated elegance that is rarely found, even at the best inns and bed and breakfasts. It is obvious that a great deal of time and thought went into every detail, from the artwork and furniture to the beds, sheets, pillows, towels and toiletries. Adding to that the fabulous breakfasts, the evening wine, the selection of teas and the treats mysteriously appearing in the room when we decided to retire for the night, we could not have asked for a more perfect place to come for a few days of total relaxation. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door and Bobbi and Jeff only added to the experience with their friendliness, their warmth and their helpfulness in making sure that our every need was met. Having a chance to discover Granville, a wonderful little town, only added to our escape. Since we live too far away for a one-night stay, we are already trying to determine when we will have a few days for another visit.

This was our first trip to The Welsh Hills Inn. It was very quaint, warm, welcoming, in a quiet setting. The room was great, we stayed in Derwen Del. The room was gorgeous, the bed was soft, we felt right at home. Our candlelight dinner consisted of an appetizer, salad, entree, and desert. The food was quite delicious. There was a bouquet of flowers in the room and a bottle of champagne for dinner. Coffee, wine, and hot tea were available all evening. Bobbi and Jeff were gracious and tentative hosts, providing us with everything we needed. They even set us up with a horse drawn carriage ride through the city of Granville. My wife and I will definitely be back in the future and will spread the word about this lovely establishment.

We came to the area for a concert at the Midland Theatre in Newark. We have stayed in many dozens of B&B's, Inns and small hotels. This was far and away the best. The site and grounds are beautiful. the area is picturesque and Granvill is a marvelous little town. The Inn furnishing are exceptional. the art collection and decorations are comforting and relaxing. our hosts, Bobbi and Jeff, are warm and friendly and can't do enough for you. We are looking for reasons to go back tot he area.

We don't get out too often, but when we decided to try the Welsh Hills Inn it was the right choice! It is perfect for couples or a family event. Jeff and Bobbi were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was out of this world...be sure to get the omeletts. If you pass this place up, you're making a huge mistake!!

Highly recommend!

This is a hidden gem that won't be so hidden for long. Although only open for less than two years(?), this b&b is run so impeccably well, you'd think that running this b&b was a multi-generation family business.

Nestled in beautiful hills and woods, the Welsh Hills Inn has become our getaway for my "birthday weekend extravaganza" for the past two years...and may become our family tradition.

Bobbi and Jeff are the most attentive, thoughtful hosts, who make every effort to provide you with all the comforts of home. The food is outstanding, and the evening wine and cheese cannot be skipped. Whether we were sitting by the fireplace enjoying our coffee before breakfast, or having a glass of wine in the pool house, we were completely relaxed.

If you have a question about an area restaurant or shop, your hosts will provide you with a helpful answer. If they don't know, they'll find out.

The home itself is lovingly decorated. If you are a fan of gorgeous original artwork, you'll find amazing pieces everywhere. I sometimes just wandered into a room to look at a painting or a sculpture.

You will not find a better B&B experience in Ohio, or perhaps the midwest... Yes, it's that good.
