Moe's Barbecue in Granville, Ohio is a delightful gem in the heart of downtown! A variety of menu items to please any person seeking barbecue for their palate. I had the platter which consisted of chicken wings, smoked pork, smoked chicken or brisket. I had the smoked pork and it was absolutely delicious with a side of marinated coleslaw, baked beans, and Mississippi Mud. It also came with a taste-inspired toasted garlic-sweet cornbread. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed there were many patrons sitting outside devouring the deliciousness. We went inside and ordered then chose seats upstairs, though there were plenty of seats in the downstairs, too. While waiting for our dinner to arrive, we had a craft beer from the bar upstairs. Several beers were available on tap and when dinner arrived, it was everything and more of what expected. I like barbecue and slaw together, so it was a perfect mix. The baked beans were peppered to perfection and honestly the garlic-sweet cornbread was such a scrumptious treat. Arrive early, or you might miss certain sides or meats, as they go fast in this small town barbecue joint where you are sure to find a satisfying meal.

We needed quick takeout for a family event that came up at the last minute. This was the perfect solution: floor was delicious, everyone had enough to eat, and no cooking required by us. The chicken is excellent and I received rave reviews about the Mac and cheese as well as the cucumber salad. Enjoy!

We are dinner here tonight and it was absolutely delicious!! We had a party of seven and we had our food within 15 minutes. I had the smoked chicken platter ( which was moist and smoked and delicious ) ,sweet potato casserole ( homemade and the best ever ), and a side salad. The cornbread was the best I've ever had.
All of their sides are homemade and delicious !!
We ate inside but they also have outdoor seating on the cutest street with patio tables and umbrellas and tons of charm.
Don't miss this place while in charming , beautiful downtown Granville.

Decided to drive from Lancaster to visit Moe's for the first time .. read 3 positive reviews on here and several on Moe's facebook page.
We arrived Sunday 7/6 around 1:40pm .. there were a couple people sitting out front eating when we arrived but nobody in lower level of restaurant. We were greeted at the front register and asked by waitress " is this your first time here" and i replied "yes" she continued to tell me that we place our order up front, pay for it then go sit anywhere we want and they bring the food to you.
Me and wife both ordered same thing ... beef brisket dinner with mac&cheese and succotash and a sweet tea to drink. We got our tea and sat down .. within about 5-minutes our food showed up. The best part of the entire meal was the sweet tea and cornbread .. the beef brisket was VERY fatty ( only about 50% was edible meat ) the mac & cheese was very dry and stuck in a small styrofoam cup .. succotash was so salty is was not good. Cornbread was good but you get 1 small piece.
BIG TURN OFFS were ....
1.) FATTY BRISKET
2.) NOBODY EVER STOPPED BY OUR TABLE TO ASK HOW THINGS WERE
3.) PRICE FOR 2 DINNERS AND TEA WAS $24.85
4.) WE WALKED BY 3 FEMALE EMPLOYEES ON WAY OUT ... NOT ONE SAID "BYE" OR "THANKS FOR STOPPING" or " kiss my @^*" 7
**** I WON'T BE RETURNING
