The Deal Pier kitchen is at the end of Deal Pier. Rebuilt a few years ago by an entrepreneur who knows what he is doing. No bookings during the week. You queue on the pier but it’s worth the wait. You can book for the lobster and steak on Friday and Saturday nights however which we will definitely try next.
Great welcome by very efficient young manager. Lovely efficient and friendly waitress who is an actress and a great communicator. Interior attractive and right on the sea with wonderful views back towards the seafront and looking out over the channel. Great simple menu. Lobster sandwich at £17 in a brioche was delicious. Pulled pork in a brioche with a spicy sauce excellent. Lovely chips either plain or sweet potato. Fabulous coffee: good drinks menu. Noticed wine menu was very interesting. We will be back and definitely will book for the surf and turf on our next visit. Congratulations to all. Lovely to see a place like this in Deal. We had a great experience. Interesting to see a good ramen choice on the menu.
Loos could be cleaner but I’m not sure if they are the Pier loos or the restaurant loos and lots of people using them.

Went for brunch.

No bookings, you have to wait on the pier - great if weather is good not so sure if it’s not!

Timing for wait given by waiter was spot on though.

Inside everything terrific - waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. All the food was delicious (special shout out for the sausages)

Would love to come for dinner, can imagine it would look really beautiful at night.

Highly recommend.

We were recommended DPK by a family member. We wondered in on a blustery morning ready for breakfast and we were not disappointed. All three of us were warmly greeted, quickly seated and left to view the menu. We all ordered the same breakfast sandwich with local sausages and were not disappointed in the slightest. Fantastically flavoursome and filling. Thank you so very much 😁 I'd share a picture but it was gone before I even thought about it!! I forget the name of the wonderful lady who served us (she was wearing a snitch mask!) She was excellent!

You may not mind about waiting 30+ mins since the view over the channel is great on a nice day. If it's windy and rainy (as it often is here) you will enjoy the wait much less since you'll be waiting at the exposed sea- and weather-facing end of the pier.

This is an informal breakfast/brunch/lunch sort of a place, but the service is annoying, intrusive and slow. That uniquely British combination of inattention and intrusiveness.

The food is OK, being critical it's unimaginative, but think a notch or two up from a greasy spoon and you'll be in the right area.

I wouldn't go again because I don't like waiting and the patronising service spoils the experience.

Great setting very spacious amazing views .A great menu ,we had lobster rolls ,both of us felt that these were tasty but expensive for what we got ,the lobster was mixed with crispy onions avacado and a sauce that resembled prawn cocktail sauce in a brioche bun so could not really taste the lobster ,sweet potato chips were amazing and a great red , would recommend but would choose another dish as felt we did not get the lobster experience , very good staff.
