Description: The Dining Club although now established for 7 years, is a new style of dining venue. It is unique in that you book a table and will be seated in individual dining rooms that feel more like a private dinner party than a restaurant - Proprietors Scott & Suzanne Roberts offer unrivalled hospitality that can be a discreet or familiar as your company requires. Scott (Head Chef & Proprietor) has been cooking for over 20 years and has previously won 2AA Rosettes for 6 consecutive years whilst running his family owned hotel in Boscastle, North Cornwall. Wife, Suzanne (Front of house & Proprietor) has been in the hospitality industry for 25 years and will provide a warm, friendly welcome and ensure that your experience compliments the food

I do not rate many places as excellent, but this ticks all the boxes.
Food was superb and very imaginative and the service impeccable.

We moved to Deal just three weeks ago and were attracted by the novelty of this restaurant/club. We made our first booking for a 'Spanish Holiday'. The greeting was great, (as usual in Deal), the room delightful. Service was attentive, very competent and sweet. The food was very imaginative, beautifully cooked and presented. Value for money is extraordinary. We loved this visit and are already drooling over the menu for next month and beyond. A very happy evening out.

We have eaten at the Dining Club many times and have yet to be disappointed. Such high quality at such a low price is amazing - five courses for under £30. The menus are well thought out and varied. Scott has a particularly good touch with soup but he shows his skill and imagination throughout the meal. The recent 'Good Old Days' menu was most enjoyable. The service from Suzanne and the team is friendly and very professional. The ridiculously low corkage charge is another major plus which makes the Dining Club an unbeatable experience.

Just returned from a last minute booked dinner at The Dining Club - Asparagus menu. What a fantastic meal. Beautifully cooked food with superbly balanced flavours, it is incredible to get this standard of food in such tasteful surroundings for under £30 on a Friday night. And all of these 5 courses were delightful; asparagus being at the centre of every course except pudding, yet such different textures that it was not remotely 'samey'. The star anise sorbet was the eighth wonder of the world... what a taste sensation. Excellent calm and efficient service too. Fantastic meal, thank you.

The Dining Club is a huge asset in Deal. Scott is an imaginative chef with a real eye for interesting combinations of cuisines and flavours. The five course dinners are extraordinary value for money given the quality and variety of the experience. Our last of many visits over the whole time Scott has been in charge was one of the best and we are only looking forward to the next one. The Club is in a bijou house but one is not on top of other diners and the service is immaculate. One can take one;s own wine (corkage of a £ must be a bargain!) and match it to the food of the evening. Scott and Suzanne have travelled and it shows in their cooking of world dishes and the influence that has on some English and other European favourites. We cannot recommend the Dining Club highly enough and we have travelled and eaten in over 100 countries.
