“A PERFECT LITTLE TREASURE!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 September 2013

It was really nice to once again visit this charming tea room and enjoy a cream tea.
The tea, scones and rasberry jam made for a yummy afternoon delight! Service, as always was friendly and attentive....especially with the advice on the music selection, unusal knowledge for such a young person..well done! This is my third visit to tea rooms and it is unique venue in a town full of coffee shops. [try getting a conversation out of the costa coffe people or the greasy spoon] Well done for an inspiring venue, menu and staff selection....!

“What service?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 September 2013

My wife and I have visited 3 times and on 2 occasions just left sitting and waiting while staff chatted with regulars. There are plenty of places doing similar things in Deal with far better service. Go find them!

Thankyou for taking the time to review our tea room. I'm truly sorry you felt you have been ignored twice on the three occasions you have been in. Service is of the highest importance to us along with the quality of our food and drinks. I must say we try to offer something a bit different to other places locally so as to offer variety for all visitors and locals alike. If you wish to try us again please do let me know and I will personally make sure you are well looked after.

“Afternoon tea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2013

Lovely afternoon tea in an interesting tea shop. It was nice being offered a glass of water while we looked at the menu. We shared one cream tea with lovely cherry jam as well as strawberry jam with plenty of tea. We followed this with the Orange Drizzle cake which was so light and tasty. The young man who served us was delightful. He was polite and attentive. The decor is light and quirky and the choice of menu was simple but interesting. The scones and cake were light and tasty and just what we needed to indulge ourselves on a warm Sunday afternoon. Liked the idea of the loyalty card for a free drink after a few visits. We will certainly be going back.

“A birthday delight!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

We have just had a wonderful week in Deal in Kent - warm sun, blue skies, delightful people and the crowning glory was a fantastic tea at Keep House Tea Room.

We arrived , four adults, two boys - a four and two year old - at 4pm today to have a celebratory birthday tea for our daughter. We had booked so it wasn't so much of a shock to them!
The Full English Tea was fabulous value and so delicious and the boys loved the French Toast. Scones to die for with jam and cream !!!!

Wonderful service , a super tearoom and if you are ever in Deal and near the castle you MUST go.
Deserving of five stars indeed!
