Description: Open 10-4 Thursday - Sunday and everyday during school holidays. Also most Bank Holidays. Local independent cafe serving homemade food and amazing coffee. Brunch-Lunch. We bake our own sourdough bread on site along with a number of tasty treats. We use speciality grade coffee and also offer filter coffee. Large seating area upstairs can accommodate groups. We'd love it if you could let us know of any problems in person so we can have the opportunity to make amends. We genuinely hope that every customer leaves happy and we do occasionally make mistakes, despite our best efforts. Thanks Tags: Brunch, Lunch, Snacks and light bites. Great cafe hidden down the South end of Deal, away from the more affluent neighbouring North end. We had to wait a little while but able to chat comfortably without noise from nearby tables interfering in conversation like in so many other cafes. Worth the wait for the grilled sandwich of goats cheese, chutney and sweet red pepper with equally tasty apple and celeriac coleslaw. Washed down with lovely pot of tea, brought to the table with a timer to ensure enough time to brew before pouring. Thoroughly lovely lunch for two for £12. Will be returning!

Glad we popped into this cafe (no pun intended) as it was one if the best coffees I have had in a while. £1.80 is quite expensive for a small coffee saying that and the cakes are London priced. The cake was very nice but a bigger selection may have been better as the menu is a little limited choice wise. All in all a box venue and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work!

If you like good coffee, excellent cakes (try the brownies) and friendly service then try this pop up cafe in the High Street, which is miles better than your average chain coffee shop.

First visit here at lunch today - very nice food, good portion size, delicious hot chocolates, lovely cakes. The 2 of us ate very well for £9.50 each. Best value café in Deal!

Had coffee and a raspberry & pear slice which was £4. The slice was very good, not over sweet but tasty. The coffee came in an ordinary glass, no handle. This I thought strange for a hot drink.
The latte was ok, average. The wait was 20 minutes which was considerably longer than in other establishments when having similar fare. When we ordered there were 2 people in the café so they weren't busy. The downstairs of the café is very plain but this doesn't appear to put people off, it was quite busy later on. There wasn't a lot of choice of cakes and only 1 savoury scone on the day I used the café but passing by on other occasions there appeared to be a lot more choice of both sweet and savoury fare. I may use the café again if there is more choice
but it didn't offer very good value on the day I used it, the coffee was small and so too the slice.
I was a little disappointed after reading other reviews which praised it.
