Great cafe hidden down the South end of Deal, away from the more affluent neighbouring North end. We had to wait a little while but able to chat comfortably without noise from nearby tables interfering in conversation like in so many other cafes. Worth the wait for the grilled sandwich of goats cheese, chutney and sweet red pepper with equally tasty apple and celeriac coleslaw. Washed down with lovely pot of tea, brought to the table with a timer to ensure enough time to brew before pouring. Thoroughly lovely lunch for two for £12. Will be returning!
