Very difficult to choose between cakes as all looked lovely and were all homemade. We had takeaway coffees and enjoyed our snack on the beach - cups could have been bigger.

Nice to find a flat white and was well made. Cute place and wifi available. Cafe is narrow and quirky but cute. A smile with the service would be nice but you can't have everything.....

A suitable place for a lighter but not cheap lunch. They aim to include uncommon ingredients in cakes or lunches, I read that 1% of people need to avoid gluten, so the blackboard promise of gluten free will please them, and maybe the worried well! I opted for a homemade sausage roll with coleslaw and salad. Beetroot is commonly included in all main choices, but I specially asked for none of this. and would have been pleased if a substitute such as cherry tomatoes had been substituted. I also had a bottle of pear juice and a portion of flavoured ice cream in a very small glass, which added £3.50 to the bill. Had no problems with service as the menu requests you order at the counter, so those who wrote they were ignored may have missed this. Probably most diners include the coffee/tea and cakes, which others praise. Bread baked on site.

J and I had a perfect cup of tea (they provide you with a timer counting down 4 minutes to tell you when the brew is ready) - it was delightfully dark when poured and we both had delicious cakes to go with it. Only one minor complaint was that the tea was served with cups that had no handles, Quirky but you may have to wait a few minutes till you can grab your brew comfortably. Not so good if you like your tea hot.
Great little place on the high street.

Love this quirky cafe, staff are super friendly and the coffee is amazing. We go in for take away drinks regularly but today we stayed for a sausage roll and brownie and of course a yummy flat. Also we could smell all the freshly baked bread coming out the oven gorgeous !
