“Great Sunday lunch!”
Reviewed 5 March 2013

Had a lovely Sunday lunch (carvery) here recently Great choice of well presented roasts and vegtables with a very tempting dessert list to follow:)! Very busy on the day we we were there - glad we booked in advance. A friendly well kept pub that turns into a cosy eating place at meal times. Well worth a visit!!

“English Pubtastic”
Reviewed 20 February 2013

The first pub I visited when I moved to Deal on a freezing January day in
2008. Had a great welcome from the 'legend' that is Debbie Doyle... and a great meal, washed down with a great pint of English ale..... and never stopped going back!

Whether its a morning coffee, a lunchtime pint, many lunchtime pints, simple pub grub or a superbly prepared local lobster, with all the trimmings, it is always served with a smile and humerous retort.

The live music nights are superb and when some bands are playing there its like being in scene from an iconic sixties cult movie

Keep it just as it is guys, a winning formula!

“Cheers”
Reviewed 17 February 2013

This restaurant offers a warm friendly greeting with great food and pleasant surroundings. You would be hard pressed to find better especially if you want to feel relaxed and appreciated as visitors. The person who signs in as Seasidewreck obviously has some kind of axe to grind and if he/she found it so unpleasant the first time what brought them back the second? Visit Deal yourselves and form your own opinion of The New Inn with it's scrumptious food. Nothing is too much bother for the staff they will do everything in their power to make you welcome, comfortable and full of good cheer.

“FOOD AND DRINK........your search is done!”
Reviewed 8 February 2013

I have been here many many times for the food and everytime it has been first class.
It saddens me when I read Seasidewreck writing in my opinion a load of what I would call
vile and childish comments.
If anyone visits Deal check The New Inn...not just for food but for coffee, wines and beers..and most of all fantastic music.
The friendly bar staff and landlady make it seem nothing is too much trouble
Perhaps Seasidewreck should stay away from the coast...i dont think the salt air agreed with him.

“Ignore the review from Seasidewreck”
Reviewed 7 February 2013

Please ignore the review from Seasidewreck. This pub is the best in Deal, a lot of locals will agree with me. It sounds like Seasidewreck has some sort of axe to grind with the landlady, maybe they were refused service? Sour grapes maybe (pardon the pun). The landlady is well known for her hospitality, good humour and charm. To allege that any landlord/landlady is drunk on their own premises is a serious matter and extremely harmful to their business. The New Inn has great staff, great beer, great food and a Deal favourite. Ignore Seasidewreck, they are probably wrecked all the time......!!
