I was recently in the delightful town of Deal visiting with an old friend and we decided to try out this sea front restaurant; an unassuming little place with a view over the sea and the pier. The service was truly excellent and the cod I ate ~ larger than plate-size ~ could well have been swimming off the coast of Hythe that morning it tasted so fresh and in a mouth-wateringly light batter. My friend had plaice with which she was more than satisied
The fish sat on a mountain of great chips, enough to satisfy any appetite, with accompanying token salad and tartar sauce.
A veritable feast and great value for money. The restaurant sits alongside a take away so if you feel like eating your fare at the water's edge you can
