Comfortable room in a lovely setting. The location was convenient for us. The hosts were very welcoming without being intrusive. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Our stay was most pleasant. The welcome was warm and Grandpa really made us feel welcome in the Granary! Beckett's is really convenient to the Gardens of Kent: Hever, Penshurst, Chartwell and a little further, Sissinghurst. The Granary was spacious and the breakfasts set us up for the day. Thank you.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. The gardens are probably at their best at the moment and many only a few miles away. Best wishes.

Our party had 3 rooms plus an annexe for a nearby wedding.(Falconhurst)The house is amazing and I would move in tomorrow! The rooms are lovely, and very well equipped and furnished with appropriate furniture.,including a four poster bed in our room. The dining room was fabulous,Eight of us all ordering different combinations of food was a challenge but all the breakfasts were just perfect. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and we invaded their kitchen to use the iron, and the dining room for the photographers and video people plus champagne before we went to the wedding. We certainly hope to be able to stay in this lovely accommodation on a future occasion, and would highly recommend it for those attending weddings .at Falconhurst or Hever Castle,or to just enjoy the many attractions of this beautiful
part of the Kentish Weald

Room Tip: The twin room on the ground floor is very spacious and has a small private garden area. The upstairs...

We only stayed for 3 night and really enjoyed our stay. The Hosts were very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. The Breakfast was excellent (especially the homemade jams and marmalades) The room we had was very pleasant, clean and Airy. If there is any critisism it was that the room was quite small and if we would have stayed any longer would have liked somewhere in our room to sit and relax. That was really nit picking. Fantastic time would strongly recommend it, and will no doubt return ourselves

Hi, many thanks for your review. I'm not sure which room you stayed in, maybe the Granary, as all the rooms in Becketts do have seating and some also have private outside seating in the garden.
The Granary does have the advantage of a very large bathroom. Very pleased you enjoyed your visit to this area. Best wishes.

I stayed at Becketts for 3 nights with my partner. We went to visit Hever and Leeds castles and I chose Becketts mainly because I've always wanted to sleep in a four poster bed! We had a fantastic time, great friendly hosts, clean and well equipped rooms, comfortable bed, yummy breakfast, fantastic location, so romantic... Perfect! Only 2 minor issues, we would have preferred a bit more power from the shower and one night there was quite a lot of loud talking from the main living room and hallway which kept us awake but to be fair it was fairly early (10.30pm-ish). We were just really tired! Thanks for a lovely stay! Hope to see you again!

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. There are so many other interesting places to visit, also with special summer events. Maybe visit them next time?
I will check the shower out as normally it is fairly strong.
Sorry for the talking, our neighbours were just going home after a dinner party.
Regards, Jacqui and Ken.

We had such a lovely stay at Becketts B and B this weekend. Our room on the first floor was gorgeous - terrific views - and our hosts were charming and gracious, able to make great recommendations for site-seeing. The B and B is situated near beautiful walking paths and not far from a number of restaurants and historic sites. Breakfast was terrific. Exceptional stay all around.

Hi Guys, very pleased you loved the vaulted double room upstairs. Yes the views around here are lovely as we are in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty with woodland and fields here and Ashdown Forest heathland only 5 miles away. I hope you played pooh sticks at the bridge. Come as visit again if you are in the area. Best wishes.

Recently stayed in the 'four poster room' for one night in this delightful old barn conversion. The welcome from the hosts was very friendly and helpful about the area with lots of information and maps etc. The room had all the amenities we needed and the bed/quilt and pillows were very comfortable and luxurious feeling. These all helped to having a good night's sleep. Breakfast was also very tasty. All in all, a very good one night stay in a charming part of the world.
Thanks to Ken and Jacqui.
