“Couldn't fault a thing!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2012

Just returned from a nights stay. Could not fault a thing. Lovely food, warm cosy bed, and Donna is a delightful hostess and made us feel very welcome. She directed us to a lovely farm shop as we left which was a nice treat to go to also.

Excellent value for money, highly recommend to anyone visiting Faversham.

We spent 2 nights st Fairlea B&B. Our hosts, David and Donna were very welcoming, all needs were catered for, had quiet comfortable nights sleep and breakfast was superb. We enjoyed our stay in this area and can highly recommend, many thanks.

We stayed one night at Fairlea B and B during a recent visit to Faversham to see friends. Donna made us feel very welcome and as though nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and the generously proportioned ensuite shower room - together with its amazing towels - was a real plus point. We didn't meet David but thoroughly enjoyed his cooking - the huge breakfast kept us going all day! The accommodation was clean and tidy and the location nice and quiet. We'll definitely stay at Fairlie again if we're in the area and can highly recommend it.

A 2 night stay in the little annex next to David and Donna's house provided us with a quiet night's sleep a beautifully clean room and bathroom with thick white towels a delightful hostess in Donna and to boot a breakfast fit for an army next morning. To be honest on the first day I decided to be refined and chose the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs plus all the usual breakfast accompanyments but on the second morning I gave in to the Scottish breakfast as I believe David whom we didn't meet was a Scot. We were not disappointed other than for the effort of rising from the table after such a feast - the haggis was delicious and if you dont like it, then you can safely leave it out as all the rest was more than my match.
When I went on Tripadvisor before booking I was sad to note that one person had rated it badly yet stayed for 4 nights. They complained of unchanged bedclothes and a grubby bathroom -- I just cannot identify with that at all - the place sparkles with crisp white linen on the bed and on the breakfast table and the bathroom was immaculate. Why stay for 4 nights when you are so unhappy? I do not understand because Faversham is full of B+Bs and the unhappy person could have found alternative accom' - but this one is a gem - you may go there with confidence - so why haven't I given it a 5 green bullet rating -quite simply because there is no "common room" to read, relax and watch TV, and although there is a TV in the bedroom the rooms are a little compact and there is no room for an armchair so if you need to spend time there and you dont want to go out much it might not be perfect but we have relatives in Faversham and were only there to change, sleep and eat Davids hearty breakfast, so now we've found it we shall return every time we go to the north Kent coast. One last point --there is a nice little garden to sit in when the sun shines and this is accessed from the ground floor. The french doors in our room went straight out to the patio.

Room Tip: There are only 3 rooms --a 5foot double upstairs along with a single and a twin downstairs. They are...

We stayed at Fairlea for one night (we needed somewhere to stay after attending a family picnic party close by), but would definitely stay for longer in future. David and Donna are very friendly and are excellent hosts. We felt very welcome from the moment David answered the door. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was superb and the portions very generous. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to visit Faversham and the surrounding area.

Had a lovely stay and a great breakfast on the Sunday morning. Room and bathroom was clean and tidy and the location was nice and quite. Just what was needed after a day spent sampling the brewing delights of Faversham.
