Been visiting this CP (country park) for about 10yrs now. This site, along the river Medway, has a good selection of intertidal habitats with host a great variety of waders in the spring and early summer. The visitors centre could be exploited more to entice people in. The catering is basic but provides all the essentials. Toilets are provided and a good place to take the dog. Unfortunately there is a lot of dog poo and have seen people happily not pick up, without fear of prosecution. i have only seen a Ranger patroling once.
Overall a great place for jogging, wildlife photography or a stroll along the river.
