“a pleasant country park with interesting wildlife”

Been visiting this CP (country park) for about 10yrs now. This site, along the river Medway, has a good selection of intertidal habitats with host a great variety of waders in the spring and early summer. The visitors centre could be exploited more to entice people in. The catering is basic but provides all the essentials. Toilets are provided and a good place to take the dog. Unfortunately there is a lot of dog poo and have seen people happily not pick up, without fear of prosecution. i have only seen a Ranger patroling once.
Overall a great place for jogging, wildlife photography or a stroll along the river.

This is a really pleasant place to visit for any occasion and for all ages.

You can walk your dog, just take a pleasant stroll round the ground, which I have to say are kept well.
Take children for a picnic. It's a lovely place for a date too!

A real hidden gem for Medway!!

Maybe a better, more classy eating place there would really draw in more custom. Critical I know but it's a beautiful place and the cafe but does let it down slightly.
An afternoon tea here would be nice.

There's always good walks here come rain or shine. There's also a great play area for kids and a cafe for drinks, ice creams etc.

I take my dog down to Riverside at least once a week. It is a great place to walk, to bird watch or to take the kids for a good time at the playground. Also, there is a visitor centre (very helpful) and a reasonably price cafe.
