Description: The Harrow Inn at Lidsing Pub & Restaurant in Kent is a fantastic country Pub and Restaurant, steeped in over 220 years of history and heritage.Located in the small Hamlet of Lidsing, just outside Maidstone, Gillingham and Lordswood the building itself has lost none of its character and boasts a spacious bar and restaurant, cozy log burner fireplace for the winter months and a spacious well kept beer garden with a bespoke childrens climbing frame for hot summers days. “Eating out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

Four of us had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. We had a good choice of meats, vegetables were well cooked and good choice of sweets. We were pleased we had pre-booked as it did get quite busy. Will certainly eat there again.

“My 50th!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

I booked the function Room at The Harrow for my 50th Birthday afternoon tea party. The Manager was so helpful & friendly, the room is a lovely size, clean with all the amenties you could need. As they weather was so lovely we did move out into the garden, which again is a lovely space well maintained, I would highly recommend using the Harrow for a function.
We have eaten there as well & that was also super

“Large portions, reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

As far as local pub grub goes this is one of the best. I've only ever heard about or driven past the busy garden at the Harrow so decided to give it a go. Just had soft drinks and baguettes for lunch but the service was friendly and the food was fresh and generous. I did notice that some of the meals / snacks did seem dearer than other local establishments but that could be because they are better. My baguette was still warm and served with a good amount of tortilla chips and a nicely dressed salad. The children's meals are limited (nuggets, sausage, fish) but also large so plenty of chips to be shared! Ice cream was delicious! Would certainly come back for dinner. The garden is very popular and has a great outside space for children to play and stay safe.

“Huge portions of lovely food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

Been to the harrow for lunch a couple of times this year and I've not been disappointed. The food is lovely, nicely cooked and presented and the portions are huge. The pub is cosy inside and has a large garden and good playing area for children if you need it. I remember playing there myself as a child some 40 years ago! It's nice to go back to places and find them still there these days! I personally think some of the prices are a little on the high side (£19.95 mixed grill) but at least they are large portions. Nice country pub.
