“Fun day had by all! Will be back soon!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2014 via mobile

Recently took a group of foster children and their carers here. Having not been for many years I was amazed with how much it's improved. It was clean and tidy and the pools were lovely, especially on a very hot day! Everyone had a great time and feedback was they all want to go again. Want to thank the staff who were courteous and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

“Always a lovely day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

A great day out, there's the big pool, childrens/baby pool and rapids inside with a little snack bar and outside there's a little splash pool (free to use) you can play crazy golf, a bouncy castle and bouncy slide or there's a little ride on train for the littluns (which my daughter loved) oh and a play park there too. The staff are helpful and willing to sort any problems you might have if you ask them! We've been here a few times over the summer and those saying about it being dirty when it very first opened, it's been cleaned up and a looks like there's been a lot of work put into making it a really nice place to go! I'd definitely recommend anyone to go here especially when it's hot but as with most places get there early if you want a sun bed to tan on ;) if not there's plenty of chairs!

“A lovely park for a family picnic with plenty for young children”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

The park has two good size car parks for free but you do need to get there early for a space on a hot summers day. It has a large park and a big shallow paddling pool which is free to use. We like to take pitch on the grass area between the paddling pool and park so we can watch our young children safely run back and fourth.
There is a mini train which costs about 50p a go and it takes you round the out skirts of the mini golf course. There is also tennis courts to hire.
Very often there are other attractions on site like bouncy castles but these cost money.
There is a toddlers park area on sand but safely under the shade of trees and again its a good place to sit for picnic.
If you fancy a long walk apparently there is a nice path way that runs along side the river.
There is a very small beach area beside the river but its stoney.
There is a nice café on site and the prices are fair.
There also plenty of room around the park for a kick about if your boys like football.
On the park is an out door pool but it has an entry fee. It looks great and very clean.
I hope to visit this pool soon and will give review after.

“Good but dirty”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

Had a nice day at the strand pool but I have to say it needs a good clean! I have honestly never seen so many dead flies in the water! Cigarette butts everywhere sweet wrappers in the water! At that was when it had just opened! Basically loads of teenagers working there who can't be bothered to tidy it up. Shame though as my kids loved it there just didn't enjoy flies in their hair :-/
