“Did the Trick but rough around the Edges!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

We stayed at this Premier Inn for one night on the 16th May after a wedding reception nearby. The Room (65) was as expected, very clean with everything you would expect! The furniture was showing signs of age & the dressing table had someones initials gouged into it in 2" letters! Its a shame as it made the room look scruffy! Bed was comfy, plenty of hot water, shower could have had more pressure! Rooms a tad noisy due to the busy roads both sides! They did have double glazing but this still didn't blockout road noise. Staff friendly & Helpful!
We booked Breakfast in the restaurant attached, again very shabby, tables rough round the edges, not clean (Salt or Sugar all over table at 8am) Food was good, hot & plentiful. Nice Coffee & lots of choice!
Did the trick, Paid £29 plus £8.95 each for Breakfast! Probably wouldn't use again!

We always stay at premier inn when visiting family or for sort stays and we have not been disappointed yet, the service is friendly and efficient, good value for money! The beds are very comfortable and we always sleep well.

Good location for a recent family christening. Very clean, nothing too much trouble for staff. Food in restaurant attached very good, great choice, good value, shame some of the staff were rude when asking us to move our pushchair.

What can you say it's a Premier Inn, so fairly standard layout though slightly larger than we have experienced previously. Hotel is next to main A2 and a retail park (B&Q) so fairly noisy during the day and our room overlooked a pelican crossing which seemed to bleep every ten minutes though was quiet at night. Facilities good as you would expect
My main gripe with Premier inn is lack of free wifi 24/7 (you get 30 mins free)

With premier Inn you know what you are getting, and the same here clean good quality rooms and great staff. Love this type of budget hotel leaves the hit and miss travelodge to shame. Nothing really to add but this app insists on 200 characters so I will keep on waffling!

We have stayed in this hotel several times with our 3 children (1 in travel cot). We have stayed in a few rooms in the hotel and the latest room 14 was smaller than others we have stayed in. Our window was near the car park which was noisy with cars playing music at 11pm which wasn't good with the kids asleep. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The honourable pilot is also good for breakfast or a night cap.

I am a fan of Premier Inns and stayed for two nights with family over the weekend. The room layout and quality was identical to other Premier Inns and well maintained. Staff were generally helpful asking all the right questions about how we were enjoying the stay. The Brewers Fayre restaurant was just about OK. Breakfast selections were good. We had the Chicken Dinner buffet for dinner on night 1 and this was pretty poor. My room overlooked the car park as opposed to the dual carriageway, which was noisy throughout the night with people shouting, car radios blaring and doors slamming even at 3.30am - don't go to this Inn if quiet is a priority!
