Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very polite and helpfull. The restaurant "Table Table." was easy access for my wheelchair the staff couldn't do enough. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family if they were going to Herne Bay or their abouts

Have returned to Premier Inn many times and I have yet to fault it. Staff are very courteous and rooms are comfortable and spacious. I usually manage to get a good deal (super saver) online, by booking in advance, and so the price is excellent.

Myself, my husband and our 3 year old son stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was typical of a Premier Inn, but I felt slightly on the smaller side to what we were used to. We arrived very late due to M25 traffic and the receptionist was friendly and helpful, she could clearly see we were tired and due to having a young child she was very quick at checking us in which we all appreciated.

The beds were comfy (we like a firm mattress) but the so-called 'firm' pillows were disappointingly soft. The room temperature was very warm and we could open the window, but as the single bed was positioned right underneath the window, we didn't think it was appropriate to have it open when our son was in bed. We managed to get some cooler air coming through the air system eventually.

The position of the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The beach was close-by and we spent some time in Canterbury. We ate dinner and had breakfast at the Table Table restaurant attached to the hotel. It was good service even though they were extremely busy at dinner time. The cooked breakfast was made to order, but there were enough continental options on the buffet table that we probably didn't need it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Herne Bay and we'd recommend it to anyone else for a short break.

We stayed for a week whilst we travelled around East Kent and found it to be a handy location. Parking is a hassle when the restaurant is busy. If they could reserve the spaces outside the hotel for their guests and get the restaurant clientele to park around back this would be an ideal set up. That being said, we could still park.
Restaurant is a table table. The breakfast here was very nice. Muffins and poached eggs were perfect. We did have to wait far too long on two occasions for our hot food but as we weren't in a rush we let it slide. Evening meals I can't say the same about with regards to the food. There is a Harvester next door to this hotel and that was nice.
Rooms were comfortable. We had a family room with individual beds for our kids. The double bed unfortunately gave me back ache but otherwise I couldn't fault the room.
Staff were friendly and helped us out when we needed it.
The only thing I would have liked in the room was some doors on the cupboard/shelving space to hide our clothes from plain sight, make the room look neater.
I would stay here again if I wanted to visit the same area.

I like Premier Inns - have stayed at a number of them - but this one - stayed 5 nights - Bed too hard could not get comfortable - limited parking close to the motel and it gets occupied by people going to the restaurant - so we have to park at the back of the restaurant where there are plenty of spaces and carry luggage each day to and from our room - all it needs is a sign at the entrance and vigilance by the motel/restaurant staff - or a card to put on the dashboard visible through the windshield - had made a booking at the ajoining restaurant for the first night at 7:30pm "we have been very busy - you will have to wait" no - we made a reservation for 7:30 where is our table - we should not have to wait - not at all happy that we did not get to eat until 8:30

Usual Premier Inn but over efficient receptionist (which isn't a bad thing) telling us about the extra wifi, goodnight guarantee, breakfast time etc but also told us she would check the booking we had made at the Beefeater restaurant attached to the Premier Inn. She couldn't get through but said she would try again and put a note under the room door when she had done so. This never happened and I want to ask why it was ever needed to check a pre booking. It was booked so what was she going to do if there was a problem anyway?
The room got very hot at night but when we left the next day there was no one at the reception to ask if everything was ok etc.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Herne Bay Premier Inn.
The hotel was being painted but we were advised about this on arrival. We did have smell of paint jn our room but hotel reception gave us some spray to get rid of the smell.
Other than this our stay was uneventful.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The only down point would be the parking, the resteraunt next door gets very busy and patrons fill up the car park closest to the hotel, which is a pain as it is a bit of a walk from the larger pub car park. Perhaps the parking nearest the hotel should be reserved for those using the hotel.
