“Absolutely Authentic Pie and Mash”
Reviewed 11 September 2013

Returned for an absolutely joyous lunch. Large portions. Perfect mash and lashing of hot liquor. Too stuffed for any pud. Have been to many Pie and mash shops around London and this is equal in quality. Very good

“poor pie and mash shop”
Reviewed 27 August 2013 via mobile

We went to herne bay especially because it had a pie and mash shop. I went in and I was the only customer in there. I ordered mash liqour and eels which was £5.50. I had to wait for 5 minutes for them to bring it out which I found very strange. When it came out the liqour was gooey and had a twang to it which made my head sweat. The mash was inedible. The only decent part of the meal were the eels. As I have eaten in a lotof pie and mash shops and sometimes I travel up to 2 hours to get to one, I have to say I wont be going back here again.

“First and last visit”
Reviewed 25 August 2013 via mobile

Unfortunately it was awful the table was dirty, the mash was instant and the pie was undercooked and contained cheap fatty grey grisly minced beef!

“Lovely bit a grub!”

Smashing food. Well chuffed and proper stuffed! Fresh pies and fluffy mash which slid down well with the liquor. Many thanks!
