“Great place to get a drink for a lovely walk along the canal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2013

We love walking along the Hythe canal and this is a great place to get some take away drinks (and maybe a cake!) to have during/ after the walk. As Waitrose are doing free hot drinks at the moment we are frequent visitors- great for a cappuccino and walk in the sun!

“Cosy cuppa and Yum-Yum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2013

Since Waitrose begun offering free coffees and teas to Waitrose Card holders we have made a point of rewarding ourselves with a cuppa and a bun after shopping. It's a small cafe and getting a table can be a challenge, but it's worth it to indulge on their caramel-topped Yum-Yums. Another reviewer has said it can be top-heavy with customers of pension age at times, but so what? The main thing is that they sell scrumptuous cakes and buns and their light meals aren't bad either. The staff are friendly and effecient. We are always pleased to support Waitrose where we can.

“Could be Better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2012

Small and crowded cafe with little atmosphere and many old people. It needs revitalising and get some young people in. Food and drinks are wonderful as is the breakfast where you can read your morning paper in peace.
