The Brockhill Cafe could not be in a nicer setting and it has no competition. In short, it should clean up on sales (maybe it does). I think it's really missing a trick. There is enormous scope for a far broader range of offers from this place - to better reflect the greater sophistication of many people's tastes now.

Imagine being able to visit for a really good quality high tea or cream tea in the summer. Or to be able to get fresh fruit, specialty teas or coffees or even take away picnics for one's walk in the woods.

Instead, it's the usual cheap cafe fare, unimaginative and limited in choice and scope.

We are local to Brockhill Park and often visit with the kids. The café is a really great little place, always busy! The food is straight forward, nothing fancy, but tasty good food for a very reasonable price. The soup is always delicious and great as a take out for the walk home after a cold winters day in the park!

Would definitely recommend this place.

After looking on my 'happy cow' veggie app this place came up as I was out for a bike ride in the area. We were pleased to find good veggie and vegan choices. We ordered two vegan burgers that were excellent and a avocado salad really nicely presented. The prices here are really good value, £12 for two burgers the salad and a pitcher of apple juice all set in a nice country park.

An excellent range of food to choose from at very reasonable prices. Friendly service - seems to be a family run café.
