We called into the Spitfire Cafe this morning for breakfast as we were passing and are very glad that we did.
The reception from the staff was a genuinely warm one with the conversation being more than just taking the order. The food is all freshly prepared and from our breakfasts I would judge that quality ingredients such as decent bacon etc is used.
It's only a small place but the walls are crammed with fascinating memorabilia; not just from WWII but also from the owners more recent spell in the Parachute Regiment.
Seating is limited however whilst we were there there was plenty of room to sit outside in the sun.
If you're ever passing along the Dymchurch Road be sure to call in - you won't regret it!
