Went on a Thursday night to try the 3 course set menu as it is a good price and varied offer. Very impressed with the cookery, everything perfectly cooked and juicy. The flavours were amazing, definitely a clever chef with an excellent pallet, not overtly Caribbean but a good influence of Caribbean spicing but with a fine dining touch. We found the food delicious, exciting and backed up by a few cocktails it was a great experience. The front of house manager is excellent, firendly and knowledgable. We are going to try their monthly Caribbean night next in July! There is also a good wine list. Mullins is in the old town just off the sea front near Margate Museum. You can park after 6 on the roads surrounding or in the car park but fees apply in the car park. Enjoy!

Thoroughly enjoyed the goat curry - the first time I'd ever eaten goat! The list of rums was impressive too (25 on the list in total) and the one I chose was wonderful (Pyrat XO Reserve Anguilla).

Really nice serving staff too, so it made for a relaxing and enjoyable occasion.

Had lunch here with the girls, very good food but service a little slow. The jerk pork burger was excellent.

Visited as a couple on a rare date night. Staff were friendly but some better than others. One waitress quite clueless as to menu. I have allergies so queried menu when ordering and was happily reassured... only to be served something not as she described. Starter was nice. Curried goat was good. However, Creole mussels had a tasteless sauce and overcooked mussels. Specials menu stated it came with salad but when served it did not. When queried we were told that the menu was an error and neither our meal or the specials board were rectified. Nice to try something different but I wouldn't go back.

Sorry to say we wont return to this restaurant, very disappointed after waiting approx 40 mins for the starter then an 1 hour 30 mins between the starter and main course to come out. not even a refill on the drinks while waiting, it was just too busy to even get the waiting staffs attention, ( More staff needed on busy nights that for sure)
then when the mains did arrive a few of the dishes came out hardly warm they didn't charge us for the cold food, but thats not the point we wanted a nice meal not a cold one
we wont be returning after waiting to long to be served cold food
Shame as we have been here before when it first opened and put it down to teething problems, but returned to find it no better
