Well planned with attractive layouts and informative time-line wall panels. Display models were comprehensively and accurately labelled. A visit will keep the amateur modeller happy quite apart from Dad and the kids.
The retail shop is clean and well presented with its own layout but the red haired retail assistant was uninformed and badly in need of customer service training. She was more interested in chatting to other staff than our enquiries.

Hey this is a place not to miss !!! There is something of interest for all ages, I was really re-living my boyhood. We spent over two hours here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (and our party was all over 70 years old !!)

Fabulous for kids of all ages (including adult ones) - lots to learn, see & play with.
The only reason I've not given top rating is because the quality of food in the cafe wasn't the best (especially the sausages!)

We took some friends to see this local attraction and spent 2.5 hrs there. WE were like big kids again, racing each other on the scalextric starting and stopping the trains in the stations. Whilst there we were lucky enough to see the D Day exhibition by the Medway model club. The attention to detail was fantastic and the more you looked the more you saw and off course buttons to push to set of the sounds and flashing. Thoroughly enjoyed and a shop to purchase models in also and a café run by the local college.

I wasn't sure what to expect, for example would the kids be allowed to touch anything? Is there a lot to see?
I have to say that it was a fab day out for us. I think we must have spent an hour pushing buttons on the Thomas display. There was more buttons on other displays & not forgetting hand triggers on the Scaletrix.
Friendly staff, clean museum & cafe and a well stocked shop too. My son gave it a double thumbs up & he doesn't award them easily.

Thank Karen G
