“Great location...”
Reviewed 31 January 2014

Stayed here for an overnight stay with a friend to attend a party in Margate.

Location could not be any better literally a stones through from the station (which is how we arrived) an across the road from the beach and a stroll past the amusements to the town centre.

Reception were welcoming, the restaurant was great with a good variety of choices.

Had a Premier Breakfast which was well worth the money with an excellent selection and all cooked food very fresh.

Would definitely stay again if I was visiting Margate.

30M from the station and with sea views !
Great big TV in the room (varies across P/Inn) . Clean , great staff .
Car park at back had good security and plenty of spaces (again varies across premier inn's)
Great beds and very clean.

being modern some noise does travel from corridor/pub/ other rooms but you get that in any modern hotel.

Over all excellent !

So why not 5? Well there are B&B's with free wi-fi , free for 30mins still seems poor.

Room Tip: ask for sea view .

Perfectly located just a few yards from the Railway station and the sea-front, the hotel has everything you would expect from a Premier Inn – clean tidy and quiet room, exceptionally comfortable bed and outstanding customer service.

At the time of visiting (Just after New Year) the coast was being pounded by a series of storms; however inside the bedroom it was totally quiet. The only downside was the wind was so strong that it damaged the hotels TV aerial so that some of the digital channels weren’t available, but you can hardly hold that against the hotel (especially as they kept apologising for something that was totally out of their control)

The attached Brewers Fair restaurant provides excellent food, including the usual wide selection at the buffet breakfast.

Every member of staff I met was cheery and welcoming; there is nothing to fault about the entire experience.

The only thing we didn't like was that you had to walk round the back of the hotel to get into reception but once we found the door to go through from the pub, it wasn't too bad. The hotel is right next to the train station and directly opposite the beach. The room we were in had a lovely sea front view. We turned up a bit early for check-in but the lady on the reception was really nice and went to speak to the maids to see if we could check-in early and we could. The room was lovely and big, very clean. The buffet breakfast is slightly different to other Premier Inns, you have to order your hot food but the cold food is out so you can have as much as you like. You can have as much hot food as you like but you will need to order again if you want anymore. Well worth the price.

A good Premier Inn. Free parking, restaurant on-site, good location (right on the beach front and near the town centre) and friendly staff.

Room was as expected; clean and tidy. Looks to have been refreshed recently too. No Air-Conditioning, but there was an electric bar heater and a fan.

Huge TV on the wall and a large, comfy bed.

Would stay again and would recommend for anyone who needs one in the area.

Brilliant price for this hotel , very clean and the location was great. Staff were friendly and in the bar too. I would come back as free parking and had a lovely sea view. The only thing I would say is .........it is really hard to get wifi on your mobile phone in the bar.

Despite the appalling weather conditions, the welcome and professionalism of the team at the Premier Inn Margate was exceptional, the check in was swift and easy, the room condition superb and the breakfast at the Brewers Fayre attached (no need to leave the hotel premises) was of a particularly high standard. All this and a sea view to boot!

Room Tip: We had a sea view and the glazing was sufficient to screen both the road and rail traffic.
