Very quite unspoilt beach just as nature intended.
A good place to be on a sunny day to get a good sun tan. Swimming is good when the tide is in. The water is shallow but surprisingly warm. But when the tide is out you have to walk for miles to find the sea.
The beach is very stony at the beginning, but if you walk to the end it is sandy, but if you are easily shocked, beware some people strip off to get an all over sun tan.
The only facilities are two toilet blocks, only one of which ever seems to be open and closes around 4pm this is situated in the car park. Not Suitable For Children if they get board easily. You have to make your own entertainment. Taking the car is expensive about £9.00. So if you have a bike use it. Another advantage of a bike is you can cycle all along the beach when the tide is going out or along the rugged path at the back of the beach.
Take PLENTY of WATER your own food and A fully charged MOBILE PHONE. This place is remote and a lot of the houses are holiday homes. Sun tan cream is essential even on a slightly sunny day there is No Shade. Have Fun, I do.
