Thank you very much for your comments. They have been passed around the team. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
This was my first stay at this particular Premier Inn, and based on the room and staff I'd definitely book again. The room itself was very spacious, with plenty of room to get a wheelchair around (we had an accessible double room - room 6). It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was a little on the low side, and I did struggle to get out. The mattress was comfortable as were the pillows (imperative as I do suffer with neck problems), and it all smelled clean and fresh. The bathroom is a good size, again plenty of room to manoeuvre. Although shallow, a bath isn't really suitable for my own needs, but as it was just the one night it was no problem to forgoe my morning ritual for an afternoon one at home. Other Premier Inns I have stayed at have a perching area at the end of their baths - maybe this is something to consider? The basin was lowered and of good height, but the toilet was a standard low one and not the higher one which again can prove a struggle. Grab rails however were well placed and sturdy, even the wall mounted bars that drop down next to the loo, which often prove to be rather wobbly. The actual doorway into the bathroom was plenty wide enough and opened outwards into the bedroom rather than inwards into the bathroom - great stuff as it's surprising how often doors open the wrong way! The staff were lovely, but I have to give Jackie Toner several gold stars, she was lovely. Warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately the pub/carvery opposite appeared closed to the public which was disappointing for New Years Eve as I would have liked a nice meal and a few drinks with my boyfriend, and she rang through to check for us (turned out it was), offered us take away menus, and gave directions to several off licences. She even managed to rustle us up cutlery when our meal arrived. It's these little personal touches that help to make a stay more enjoyable, so thank you.
Now the breakfast...oh dear. We booked the premier breakfast. The eggs were cooked fresh, but that's where the good bit (if you don't mind rubber microwaved scrambled eggs!) ends. The rest of the cooked breakfast was done buffet style which in my view is fine if it's a busy service but this wasn't - there was one other occupied table when we went in. The sausages were microwaved and placed on the hotplate to brown and had consequently toughened, the bacon was ok, not browned and again kept hot under lamps, the beans and tomatoes looked disgusting and the beans had actually started to form a skin. There were no hash browns or mushrooms as are advertised as included, and have been included at other Premier Inns. The continental side of it, also included in the premier breakfast, appeared to be well stocked, but please, Tescos Everyday Value yoghurt??? Not as advertised, and I think a little disgusting given the price of 0an already substandard breakfast. Disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay.
Thank you for your kind comments regarding your stay at Premier Inn Gravesend A2 Singlewell. I am glad that you had an enjoyable stay.
Have stayed in a few Premier Inns now, and they all have really really good rooms.
This one is no exception. Stayed here for new years night with the other half, the room I could not fault. The pub next door was closed to the public all evening which meant we couldn't go for a drink or meal, but Jackie on reception was more than accommodating allowing us to bring drinks in from an off-license and order a take away (Menus available on request). She even rustled up some cutlery etc., more than she she needed to do (Thank you!) and provided a non-slip bath mat.
Bed was comfy, if a little on the low side, but the room spacious, clean with all the facilities you need for a night's sleep or to chill out it (full range of DTV stations). Our room was a wheelchair accessible room and all the facilities for disabled people looked new and were very sturdy and well placed. The low height of the bed does mean that people transferring to/from a wheelchair may have trouble unaided.
We opted for the £8.25 premier breakfast served at the George pub/carvery, which the hotel shares a site with. This was very disappointing I have to admit, especially as the carvery is really good. A self-service buffet is acceptable if breakfast time is busy. Today it was quiet. Some of the items normally offered on the premier breakfast were not available. The sausages felt like they had been microwaved and placed on a griddle to brown them up. The beans & tomatoes had been sitting on the hotplate for such a time they had started to form a skin on top. This made things very unappealing. The continental side - cereals, toast etc - was actually well stocked and everything fresh, but if you're going to serve yogurts, try and hide the fact you're using Tesco Everyday Value and not the advertised Yeo Valley.......
If you have a breakfast here, go for the continental.

We stayed at the Premiere Inn Gravesend A2 for one night prior to catching the eurostar from Ebbsfleet, We didn't arrive until about 9m, so was a little concerned about parking, but on arrival there were plenty of spaces. We were greeted by a friendly Receptionist, who promptly gave us directions to our room. On entering the room, we were pleasantly surpried by its size, on closer inspection the room could not be faulted on cleanliness.
The beds of a good size and extra pillows were provided. Unfortunately we found the mattress too hard, combining that with the fact that we were by the entrance door to the corridor (rm 16), and that everytime this door closed throughout the night it made our door rattle (which was quite often), we didn't get the peaceful nights sleep that we had anticipated. All in all a friendly and impecably clean hotel. The location was ideal for Ebbsfleet International.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments, they have been passed around the Reception and Housekeeping team.
We are sorry to hear that you had an uncomfortable night stay with us. The door especially, has been logged with our Maintenance Staff who will be out to fix it as soon as possible. Without comments from Guests like yourselves, we would not be able to adjust the hotel to meet your needs.
We stayed at the Premier Inn Singlewell near Gravesend on 5 September. Excellent situation off the A2 and just 13 minutes to Ebbsfleet. We were concerned that if there was a problem on the A2 in the morning we would panic so we took the route through Watling Street, on to Golf Links Road to Ebbsfleet. Our hotel room with immaculate and brilliant size. We ate in the pub by the hotel and had a carvery for, would you believe it, £4.99 per person. Would certainly use this Premier Inn again if we are in the area.
Thank you very much for your comments, which have been cascaded around the Reception and Housekeeping Team, who very much appreciated your lovely feedback.
If there was an accident on the A2, we would endure to update our Guests and assist by printing alternative directions. Luckily on this occasion, all was okay!
Furthermore, you're comments have also been passed onto The George Pub / Restaurant.
I'm glad to hear you would recommend us to family and friends.
