Our first visit but we will return. The car park opens at 1030hrs on the first Sunday of the month during the summer & the first train runs at 1100hrs then every 12mins approx. These are narrow gauge steam trains with 2 carriages running in large private grounds (run by volunteers) and were fun. The café was excellent with excellent bacon rolls (£2.00) tea, hot chocolate, ham & tomato sandwich and lovely home made chocolate cake(£2.00), staff very friendly and having fun which made it enjoyable. The shop could do with more items for adults but this is a small point. The sheds had very good displays of trains, beam engines, model railway layouts with great attention to details. Outside there were cars, tractors, steam engines and more on display and some working, in all an excellent day out. £10 per person entry but it all goes to improve the site so well worth it.
