Ramsden Oast Cottage is about 3 miles south of Tenterden in a small hamlet. It’s in a converted outbuilding adjacent to the owner’s house and has two spacious rooms. There’s a very generously-sized bedroom with twin beds (very comfortable) and ample cupboards and drawers; a shower room/toilet, and a kitchen-diner-sitting room. Lots of space for two people. It’s very well-equipped, most tastefully furnished, very well fitted out and was absolutely spick and span. It’s in a very quiet location with its own private garden, and it lacked nothing we wanted. The house owners provided us with a generous “welcome pack” (we had home-made cake!) and were a great pleasure to meet. As a location for exploring Kent, its coast and its numerous National Trust properties it was quite excellent. Tenterden (10 minutes away) has a Waitrose and lots and lots of other shops. We also found that eating out was easy in places like Appledore (the Red Lion) and Stone (the Ferry Inn) which are only minutes away by car. Everyone who wrote comments in the visitor’s book were as enthusiastic as we are about this property, so this review is also very much a summary of what others have written. It’s a great place to stay, and is to be thoroughly recommended

This is one of the best cottages myself and my wife have stayed in.
The cottage is first class, really large and it is beautifully furnished and has everything you need.
The scenery is fantastic and the owners are really friendly and very helpful.
They have a welcome pack and a lovely home baked cake waiting for you on arrival.
Can't wail to return in the near future.
