Booked family room. Checked in just around 5pm. Immediately went out. Returned around ~10pm to go to bed. As my son lay on his single bed it sagged on one side in the middle. My wife checked it and confirmed the bed was broken and spoke to reception. Following a quick look, the duty manager agreed the bed was broken. Whilst the duty manager was polite, we were essentially accused of breaking the bed, as ‘there wasn’t a problem when I checked it in the morning’. We confirmed we had done no such thing and asked if an alternative room or replacement bed was available. The duty manager confirmed neither was possible. This was disappointing. Naturally, what followed wasn’t a great night’s sleep. The next morning, as were checking out, we bumped into the same duty manager. She very politely asked if everything was OK. I’m not sure what she wanted us to say? Having left the hotel and put our baggage in our car, we went for breakfast at the Beefeater next door. We ordered three English breakfasts at ~10am. They didn’t arrive until ~11am. Again, the waitress was very polite apologising for the delay but this wasn’t much comfort. We were tired and hungry! We have used Premier Inn several times and generally been impressed. Unfortunately, we won’t be hurrying back to Tonbridge North. We have also learned an important lesson. To immediately check all beds when given a room.

Over all impression was clean warm and spacious but I have yet to stay in a premier inn that's hasn't been to these standards. Arrived early before 2pm due to long journey I had and wanted to rest, receptionist was very helpful checked the room I was allocated was ready but before then she advise if the room isn't ready she will source another room which I though was excellent service.
Room facilities all standard but enough and room clean and warm.

Beefeater next the door the wifi isn't the best and the service was a bit slow but has the evening got busy more staff where on hand and better service just need to sort the wifi out.overall evening meal was lovely not rushed for the next course.

Breakfast was good and plenty of choice cooked breakfast was on order by order but I didn't have to wait long overall enjoyable stay and would go back ..

The staff always welcomes you 'with open arms'. You feel you are very important to them, not as a guest but as a friend of the place. When I am in that area I would NEVER stay anywhere else. I can only sing their praises.

Overall very good: clean, welcoming, secure and with good parking. Beefeater next door was not, in our view, a good choice for dinner, although they served good breakfasts. Very helpful with food-allergy information.

A really comfortable stay on one of the special offers. Loved the quality HD TV and the ability to plug laptops and games machines in. The location was convenient but a little way from Tonbridge itself and the cabs were very expensive if you needed them but that's not the hotel's fault!

As is usually the case with Premier Inn, this hotel was very clean and tidy. The rooms were modern looking and comfortable and for £25 was excellent value.
Although it is on a main road into Tonbridge, and also fronts onto the Beefeater car park next door, there was no problem with noise. In fact, there was more noise from those staying inside rather than from outside. Didn't have dinner in the pub but the breakfast was very good and as kids eat free with a paying adult, it was also very good value.

O.K. a Premier Inn is a formula. That's how they keep their prices down. But their people can really make a difference. And here they did. A big family wedding just before Christmas. Lots of rooms booked and nearly all the same surname. Lots of arrivals all at the same time, some tired, some deaf, some poorly sighted, some just cranky. Bookings had a few errors. But reception just smiled, and chatted and sorted out all the niggles and got everyone in the right room. And were still smiling in the morning. Thank you. Knowing that when you arrive, the people behind the desk are nice and want to help is a big plus!
