Review of Milk and Honey

Whitstable, the jewel in the north Kent coastline, doesn't seem to suit overblown posy & chain restaurants as much as small artisan places of individual character. This is a little jewell itself.
The Beach Cafe is fine if you like more 'transport cafe' type venues but just 50 yards further from the Longbeach set up across Harbour St (which becomes 'Tower Parade' east of the harbour) is Milk and Honey, looking back through the gaps and down beach St to the sea. It also has a nice 'Al Fresco' seating area out front.
Fascinating range of interesting menu item. I had a 'Croque mademoiselle'' (or something like that?) on my most recent visit. Very tasty.

Really nice little brunch place (although the stay open through the afternoon I believe). Yes, they've got the usual full English but some nice other dishes.

Thoroughly recommended.

We happened upon this little gem on an afternoon visit to Whitstable. The owner served us and was very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious lunch of cheese on toast, scone and strawberry jam and cakes. I had raspberry and coconut, my sister had blueberry and poppy seed and my nephew had chocolate and orange. All served on fine bone china which was a real treat. The cafe is a bit quirky which adds to the charm. It was a lovely place to visit. Highly recommended!

Really rate this place. If you want some really interesting food made with local products then you'll love Milk and Honey. Great team, I know it was a long time ago now but we bought loads of mince pies from them at Christmas because we loved their homemade mincemeat. The Xmas pudding was out of this world.

Unplanned visit, stumbled across this little gem and well worth the visit. Food was lovely and service very friendly. Homemade cake was delicious, especially the chocolate and beetroot.
