Sue was extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation was good with an excellent shower, clean and comfortable and good location just 5/10 minutes from the beach. The breakfast was nice as well with a good selection of fruit.

We arrived late on Friday night and Sue was very welcoming. - (very easy to get to from London by car + includes parking) She took us to the white room which was wonderful. It was clean, spacious and had a very big Victorian brass bed.(very comfortable)
Breakfast was great - we had a full English everyday which wasn't too filling. The accommodation was in the perfect position. We were able to walk into town everyday in about 5 minutes. Sue was very accommodating and helped us out with any info we needed. She even lent me some sunscreen!
Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Whitstable.

We stayed at Cliftonville House for 1 night over the Bank holiday period. We stayed in the lovely Lavender Room, a spotless room on the ground floor. So much care had been taken to make the room comfortable, the shower cubicle was actually in the bedroom itself but we found this a quirky feature! (& Sue had let us know about this when we booked) There were lots of extras too that you wouldn't always receive in a B& B (toiletries/tea and coffee in room/tv etc) Sue was a brilliant friendly host and must work extremely hard to maintain these standards, she provided us with a map and even left sun cream out for us as it was a very hot day! The breakfast was fantastic too, very good quality and freshly cooked.
We would certainly stay here again - Thanks Sue for a lovely stay.

Sue is a wonderful host, very welcoming, full of local knowledge and very accommodating. We stayed for 1night in the lavendar room, which was decorated beautifully and really comfortable, with an ingenious use of space to fit in the ensuite facilties. Breakfast was delicious, full English, with perfectly cooked egg, bacon crisped to perfection and good quality sausage. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Thanks Sue for helping make our first visit to whitstable lovely.

We had a lovely stay in the Lemon Room over Easter - the bed was lush, the bathroom was immaculate, the towels were fluffy and it was super toasty and cosy.

Sue was a great host, and made us feel really welcome. She's was great on the communication in advance leading up to our booking.

Her recommendation for dinner turned out to be a highlight of trip, and she gave us directions for a great walk along the seaside from just behind her house.

Breakfast was a satisfying fry up - proper English style!

I would definitely recommend Cliftonville House for a comfy, homely getaway from London. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Don't be put off by all the reviews of the White Room - the Lemon Room is lovely too (and it doe...

We stayed for two nights in the White Room, in November last year. Can't really think of a negative thing to say. Sue was very pleasant and full of helpful ideas; the room itself was spacious, tastefully decorated and perfectly clean. We're hoping to be back again in the summertime, Whitstable is such a great little town!
