We stayed at the Cliftonville for two nights and we were really impressed. Sue was very welcoming and friendly and a whizz with the breakfasts! The white room was very comfortable and stylish with a huge king size bed. The B&B is really handily situated about 15mins walk from the station and 10mins from the high street and sea front. We would certainly stay again. Recommended!

We visited Cliftonville last week for a little getaway and found a real gem. Sue was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The lemon room was perfectly comfortable and cosy for us and only a ten minute stroll to the harbour. The facilities were excellent and exceptionally clean. Sue let us check in early and drop off our bags before we went of to explore, even showing us a lovely map with suggested walks. Breakfast was absolutely superb, with particularly delicious coffee. I won't be cutting out my coffee when it's as good as this Sue! I had arrived in a summer dress for a hot day and had not planned for the following days chilly morning wind. Sue very kindly decided to lend me a jumper and let us leave our bags whilst we enjoyed our last day. All in all, a very warm welcome, excellent attentive hospitality and real genuine warmth. A real must stay place in whitstable with a very charming host. Thank you, Blair and I look forward to coming back!

Room Tip: Lemon room perfect for a short break or overnight visit!

Four of us stopped for a June weekend. The parking is easy and its a stroll into town or the beach. Sue is friendly, and knowledgable about the town. Breakfasts are good and its a comfortable small B+B.

Sue was extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation was good with an excellent shower, clean and comfortable and good location just 5/10 minutes from the beach. The breakfast was nice as well with a good selection of fruit.

We arrived late on Friday night and Sue was very welcoming. - (very easy to get to from London by car + includes parking) She took us to the white room which was wonderful. It was clean, spacious and had a very big Victorian brass bed.(very comfortable)
Breakfast was great - we had a full English everyday which wasn't too filling. The accommodation was in the perfect position. We were able to walk into town everyday in about 5 minutes. Sue was very accommodating and helped us out with any info we needed. She even lent me some sunscreen!
Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Whitstable.

We stayed at Cliftonville House for 1 night over the Bank holiday period. We stayed in the lovely Lavender Room, a spotless room on the ground floor. So much care had been taken to make the room comfortable, the shower cubicle was actually in the bedroom itself but we found this a quirky feature! (& Sue had let us know about this when we booked) There were lots of extras too that you wouldn't always receive in a B& B (toiletries/tea and coffee in room/tv etc) Sue was a brilliant friendly host and must work extremely hard to maintain these standards, she provided us with a map and even left sun cream out for us as it was a very hot day! The breakfast was fantastic too, very good quality and freshly cooked.
We would certainly stay here again - Thanks Sue for a lovely stay.

Sue is a wonderful host, very welcoming, full of local knowledge and very accommodating. We stayed for 1night in the lavendar room, which was decorated beautifully and really comfortable, with an ingenious use of space to fit in the ensuite facilties. Breakfast was delicious, full English, with perfectly cooked egg, bacon crisped to perfection and good quality sausage. All in all a great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Thanks Sue for helping make our first visit to whitstable lovely.
