We stayed here for two nights in hut no 5, a great location with stunning views but had some issues and concerns with our accommodation and rather than go online and have a rant and slate our experience, I decided to air my disappointment to the MANAGEMENT which I thought was doing the right and honourable thing, In all my travels across the globe I don't think I have ever experienced anything like the way my partner and I were treated, So Mr Greene , as the Company director worth having a look at your complaints handling procedure, felt absolutely humiliated and belittled by your General Manageress response
Your oyster restaurant was Delightful as was the forge and your bar team in your hotel
Very disappointed

We booked the hut for a weekend away in October 2018. We had chosen the one with a balcony but this was little used as the weather was cold and windy but dry.
Although we had a bit of trouble finding our hut we were pleasantly surprised when we went in. The hut was decorated in a modern style to a good standard and was well equipped for a comfortable stay. We had two rooms to choose from and opted for the one in the middle floor as lying in bed you could see the sea which was a lovely way to start the day.
The only negative was that the height of the ceilings were quite low. I am six foot talk and bumped my head a couple of time's so anyone taller might have an issue.
Another upside was the link with hotel as we could walk there each morning for a really excellent breakfast.
Overall highly recommend.

Despite rather grotty weather we had a pleasant stay. The Fisherman's huts are comfortable and warm and breakfast at the hotel is first class. The town of Whitstable is full of interesting independent shops and good restaurants and cafes.
Will definitely return.

Wife booked us in for two nights stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We booked hut 9 for its sea view and the fact that we may take our dog. We checked in at the Hotel Continental and were given keys to hut 7. Now hut 7 as nice as it is does not overlook the sea but a rear alley. Not impressed we returned to the hotel to vent our disproval.
The manager listened sympathetically and offered us one night stay in a hut that overlooked the sea and one night in the hotel. We really appreciated her hard work to help resolve our situation.
We were offered dinner in the hotels restaurant that evening but had already booked in into a restaurant so declined.
To compensate for the disruption caused the hotel has agreed to send us a voucher valued for one year to put towards another stay.
Thank you Hotel Continental for arranging this.

We stayed for one night in hut 11.
First draw back that the parking space was quite a way from the hut so we had to carry our luggage to the hut. The other huts had parking directly outside their doors. The hut had 2 double beds, one upstairs and one downstairs but think it would be very cramped to have 4 guests staying there. A little kitchen with microwave was in there too so that was good. Hut 11 has no sea view so was pretty dark but deck chairs are provided if you wish to carry them to the beach which is a good idea.
Breakfast is served in the hotel up the road. Generally pretty good selection and helpful staff. Only downside is that the berries were still frozen so not too nice!!
Would stay in the hotel on next visit.
