We visited with friends for a cooling beer on a busy hot sunny day. Tucked away from the main seafront the beer garden was the perfect setting for a couple of beers. Lots of choice for real ale buffs and reasonable wine also. A pleasant little watering hole away from the tourists.

The girl swore when I walked in and the "boys" said come in. I was so shocked and confused that I walked in only to realise that it was a completely local pub that only the local youths frequented.
The bar was unstaffed so we quite easily walked out.
We had walked past earlier in the day and noticed very loud music.
There are so many other lovely pubs in Whitstable, avoid this one, unless you are a teenager looking for a cheap drink.

The Prince Albert is a small, basic pub but surprisingly expensive. Very few ales but some good bottled craft ales. Cheerful, friendly staff.

Popped in for a quick drink on a weekday night. As to be expected, the pub was quiet, with a few locals at the bar. Barman wasn't particularly welcoming and for some reason, despite having many lager taps installed, only Heineken was available. There are many, many choices of pub in and around the high street, so this one needs to up its game.

Called in, early doors on Sunday. Cosy pub which by 6pm was gradually turning into a 1980's fun pub! Great atmosphere! Everyone having a fun time!
