Standard Witherspoons fare, wholesome food, we'll presented and cooked reasonably good pub grub standard and as usual excellent value for money. My wife, my grand daughter really enjoyed an excellent good value breakfast in this impressive Art Deco themed converted cinema.

First of all, the interior of this is amazing. It used to be the old cinema and has some lovely decor inside.

Food. It is very cheap and I wonder what people expect for £3-4.
We haven't had any really bad experiences, but there are things that you wish they would take note of ie why do we always get the tops of the tomatoes!

Went here for Sunday lunch, it was discusting. I left most of it, at £8.05 you would expect to beable to eat it.. The Roast beef was tasteless in a watery gravey. The roast potatoes were frozen mush and cold inside, the veg was soggy and floating in water. Only edible things on the plate we're yorkshire pus and stuffing ball, what a waste of £8.05.

In my opinion if you want steak and chips, or burger or jacket potato then it's fine to eat here, but for Sunday Roast find a little pub with homemade lunches.

We often visit Whitstable and generally use this Wetherspoons. Always find the food consistent and good value, service friendly and quick, not too keen on the central queue for the bar but pleased drinkers dont stand at the bar getting in the way! Can get a little noisy as the layout of the pub is so open and would prefer some booths but other than that a great place for a drink or coffee and food

We were told by friends to go and have a look at the Peter Cushing because the decor was quite spectacular. they weren't wrong! it is a real treat to see an old building brought back to life and in the keeping of what it once was.

We had breakfast the following day, and were not disappointed, such a lot of food for not a lot of money!
