“Friendly cafe”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We popped in here for breakfast whilst staying nearby. I had the "half English" whilst my partner had the full English. Both looked great, and tasted great too! Good sized portions, cooked well. The sausages in particular were very tasty, obviously high quality.

The waitresses were friendly, quick and helpful (I heard several other tables request alternatives to the listed English breakfast items, all of which were accomodated). The food was well priced too and the outside seating area lovely. We'll definitely return next time we're in Whitstable.

“Friendly service & great food”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

I visited Howard's Kitchen today for lunch. They had a great array of specials, but I wanted something light so I chose the chicken salad while my mum had the prawn and egg salad.

The salad was huge and had cous cous, coleslaw, potato salad, all the usual salad ingredients as well as a generous portion of chicken. It must have been almost half a chicken!
It was delicious. I honestly wasn't expecting a great salad but it was the best I've had in ages.

The service was friendly and efficient. I especially enjoyed sitting in the back garden/covered seating area in the sunny weather.

This cafe is a great find in Whitstable that sells locally-sourced, homemade food that is brilliant value.

“Excellent service and good Value”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

We recently Stayed near Whitstable for a few days and every day went out for breakfast we didn't get to Howard's Kitchen until the last day but are very glad we tried it, we enjoyed the breakfast so much that we recommended it to our relatives who were due to visit Whitstable, they also went here and enjoyed it. Out of all the places in Whitstable that do cooked breakfast Howard's is the best value for money, the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly, also a lot of the other restaurants stop serving breakfast at 11.00am Howard's continues until 12.30 and would probably be a bit flexible if you got there a little bit later.

“Lovely food”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

Had a lovely early lunch here today with our 15 month old little boy. made very welcome with a baby. Lovely food and great desserts! Great staff. Could do with a spruce up inside. Baby changing table was very grubby with broken light above. Couple of high chairs very grubby - luckily a plastic ikea one too so used that instead.

“Not bad bit pricey”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 via mobile

2 teas 2 bacon sarnies

Service is very good, decor is "shabby chic"?

Tea is bag in a mug . Sandwiches came quickly and tasty bacon . Not quite worth £3.75 for a sandwich though
