We've eaten here a few times now and really enjoyed the food. Most recently we took advantage of the £9.95 per person banquet offer - one plus an extra main course, a couple of papadoms (and a reasonable bottle of Muscadet) was plenty for two of us to share. To start we had a fish biran, spicy fillets of fish fried with onions, very tasty. For mains we had the tandoori king prawn and fish kurma with a side of bindi bhaji. The bindi bhaji here is quite delicious, spicy and dry, unlike the usual slimy mess served up in some restaurants. Included in the price is also rice and naan. There is a £2.50 surcharge for seafood dishes but in total this came to an amazing £34 for two and we were very full as portions are generous. At the end of the meal we were also offered a complimentary liqueur, possibly because it was a holiday weekend.
Other reviewers have commented on the size of the restaurant and it is small, so maybe not the place for an intimate meal and at busy times it is probably advisable to book. We have always found the service to be perfectly acceptable.

We have steadfastly being ignoring this little curry house - purely n the basis of its garish, unappealing exterior-however this weekend the desire for a take away Indian overcame our previous reluctance to try!
What a,little gem! Delicious fragrant food at a decent price! Cannot comment on the restaurant apart from to say: it's small, it appeared very clean and it was packed.
Looking forward to repeating the experience!

We almost didn't enter because the place from the outside isn't inspiring. However the reviews were good so we tried it and we were very glad we did. The food, service and value were outstanding and me and my family had a lovely evening.

Well we have ate here three times now so tried again we booked in the morning and so glad we did as when we got there was packed and no tables for four so had to ask a couple to move from a larger table to accommodate us! We also saw a party of seven five minutes after us get turned away as there wasnt a table for them even tho they had booked not very good, so we were lucky! Wih regards to food always great, plentiful, tasty, hot and spicy dishes etc had plenty of kick! Always lots left over as can never eat it all! Staff were kept busy as was a packed eve but kept up! Meal with drinks etc for fout came to about 85 pounds well worth it! Will def go again as long as they make sure have tables when booked!
