My wife and I wanted a couple of nights rest away from busy London. Whitstable is such a great change, with plenty to see on walks by the beach and loads of good cafes and restaurants. There appears to be a pub on every corner in the town and right opposite Waves there are two, both long and thin, which stretch all along the pedestrianised road. Good ale at just £3.50 a pint.
The house is immaculate, we don't think we have ever been in a place that's so clean. It's really comfortable and has some music themed memorabilia on the walls. Also a Sonos sound system.
It may cost a little more than others but we thought it was worth it and would definitely choose to go again.
Waves is fast becoming our favourite place - we were all so sad to leave again. The house is welcoming with such lovely little touches and has been furnished beautifully, it’s a completely relaxing place to stay and so near everything but just out of the way to be peaceful. It was spotless when we arrived with everything you need for your stay. Thanks so much Deborah, we’re already planning our next break!
'Waves' is perfectly situated in the heart of Whitstable just a very short walk to the bustling High Street and the beach.
We enjoyed a short family break (including the dog!) and Waves was equipped with everything we needed. The house was lovely and cosy and was an ideal base to explore Whitstable for our few days.
It has top quality appliances and the bathrooms are fitted out very well. 2 very comfy beds were just what we needed are a day's walking. It has a small courtyard garden which is perfectly adequate if you want to sit outside for a drink or two.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to go back again.
the "waves" is located in the very near of the harbour and the centre of the little town.Parking place in the near :to pay.
the house is very good, in the kitchen a dishwasher,a dualit toaster,a microwave,a washingmachine, freezer.
a little livingroom with a small round table and 4 chairs which are not comfy,
a big sofa,a big flatscreen (very good quality).downstairs a toilet.
at the first floor a little bathroom with a bath(shower in the bath) and toilet (1 big towel a person) bedroom nr. 1, comfy bed.
second floor: bedroom nr. 2 , comfy bed.
the house is nice decorated in "coast-cottage-style" and clean.
location: in general very good: there are 2 pubs in the very near of the house:
sometimes in the late evening noisy.
We had the most amazing stay at Waves. It is the perfect location and decorated to such a high standard. The children loved it and we all felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. We will be 100% returning at some point.
Perfect location, couple of minutes from beach, harbour and shops. Do book well in advance though if you want to eat out.
The house is just perfect....and interesting, so many quirky things to look at. Feels really warm and homely when the lights come in in the lounge on an evening.
Will definitely go back and take friends with us.
This was our first time booking through Trip Advisor, and Waves suited all of our needs.
A charming house in a perfect location for our first visit to Whitstable. The house was bright and very warm and filled with so many quirky pieces! Such a bonus having the little courtyard garden too, a good spot for a morning cuppa. Waves was immaculately clean and everything we needed was provided.
Deborah was very helpful providing all the information we needed about the house and area, with great recommendations for places to eat too. We loved how dog friendly Whitstable was, which made our stay so much more enjoyable. We will definitely recommend Waves to our friends.
Thank you again
