We stayed for a 2 night break at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the location is ideal, just a 25 minute walk from Whitstable, although we did get a taxi back to the hotel as you have to walk up a big hill (taxi cost £4.20).

Definitely thinking of going again

Conveniently situated just outside Whitstable, this is great value for money; superbly clean and benefits from very good quality bed linen; a large and comfortable bed and a choice of pillows and a comfortable night is 'guaranteed'. On arrival a number of guests were checking in. Customer service is clearly well provided for as the charming gentleman on the desk acknowledged those waiting with a cheery smile and an assurance that he would be with them shortly. Faced with this kind of greeting, which is often not present in far more expensive hotels, everyone was very happy to wait and we noted that a very good initial impression and atmosphere was achieved. Of course if you want super views and central locations etc, then don't choose a Premier Inn. However, if you want somewhere that you know will always be clean, welcoming and provide excellent value for money and be a great place to have a comfortable sleep after a day out or a business trip, then we would always recommend this particular chain. The Premier Inn at Whitstable did not disappoint and in fact we thought that the service here was the best that we had come across. An added bonus is that the television is tuned to receive the full range of channels and there is some free WiFi access as well as the opportunity to have unlimited WiFi access for a modest £3 per day. There are many quaint B&Bs in Whitstable but this does not offer the same freedom and the hotels are rather tired and gloomy so for our purposes we would choose the Premier Inn every time unless we chose to self cater. The attached Beefeater Inn is very much nicer than some and while we chose to eat elsewhere it is quite pleasant for a final drink after a day out.

Great value, friendly staff, good parking and convenient location for visiting our son who is at university in Canterbury. Within easy driving distance of Whitstable and the coast. Quiet location despite being near main roads. Also near bus stops if you want to leave the car behind.

I stayed here recently while on a business trip. My room was excellent and well serviced by the cleaning staff. The reception staff were most helpful and very friendly. This is a great value 'hotel' and well worth a visit.

We stopped three nights and had a great time. Visually it isn't the most attractive place but it is clean, comfortable and well located. The staff are efficient and helpful, arriving late in the evening to be greeted with a friendly receptionist was a good way to begin the weekend. We had 3 peaceful nights, apart from a fire alarm going off at 6.50 one morning but the staff were helpful and refunded the nights stay. I would stop here again next time I fancy a weekend neat the Kent coast.

when planning our new years eve we required a hotel and were pleasantly surprised this hotel still had rooms, considering it was only £29 a night!
It lives up to the brand with a nice comfy bed and a spotless room. the reception team were very helpful. the location is great too as only a short drive into town to explore, and a taxi back is only a tenner too.
