As usual, good value, clean and all that I would expect from Premier Inn where we often stay. The only downfall is the pitiful air conditioning system or lack of it! Two fans to circulate warm air around a room that is already far too hot! When will UK budget hotels address this problem? Central European ones cracked it years ago!

We have stayed a number of time at this premier inn the staff are always helpful and provide fans and extra sheets in the hot weather .Rooms are clean and well maintained.A bus route into Whitstable and Canterbury is a few yards from premier inn.We stayed the weekend of the Oyster Festival so very busy, but nothing is too much trouble for the staff.Easy parking.

Room Tip: Facing carpark upper floor no lifts so may not suit soon people

Booked for 1 night for family of 4, pretty much everything as per normal with Premier Inn if a little dated. Beds nice and firm clean room/bathroom and always very helpful staff. I am a fan of this chain of hotels and it's services although a little pricy for bar food always great breakfasts.
Which leads me to the big disappointment for us, the Breakfast in the adjacent Beefeater. The continental style breakfast was the usual buffet help yourself but hot English style we ordered from the waitress.
We got 1 rasher,1 sausage,1 egg,1 tomato, 3 mushrooms and a soggy hash brown. as this is supposed to be eat as much as you like I generally go for half a dozen rashers and sausages and not much else but as we'd been told they'd run previously out of bacon, with the manager going to the local Tesco for more (well done that man) I didn't like to ask for more.
Will defiantly stay in a Premier Inn again but only if they have a restaurant.

I booked this twin room last minute. I've always thought highly of Premier's beds and linen, so I didn't object to booking in here, although I'd have preferred to be have been in town (fully booked).

This Premier is conveniently located, near the main road, and near to Whitstable town - but only good if you have a vehicle. There is a long gradient hill between town and Premier.

We had a ground floor room. The beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious - keeping in standard with their hotel chain. On arrival, there was a Corporate note in the room explaining they had provided fans and a top sheet for the beds due to the heat. Unfortunately, our 3 night stay was super hot every night ever with the fans. Management need to install air conditioning, or find another way to ventilate the rooms. It was dire!!!

In keeping with their Guaranteed nights sleep, the receptionist refunded us 1 nights stay, due to the heat.

The Beefeater restaurant next door was super busy every night. We did manage to get food on the Saturday night, which they allowed us to take back to our room.

I still rate Premier Inn's (in general), but will be very cautious now regarding heat and cold temperatures when staying with them.

Good points: Very friendly and polite professional staff. Clean room with all necessary facilities. Good choice of food.
Bad points: Expect noise from other guests walking past your room and slamming their room doors shut until the early hours of the morning - probably other guests going outside for cigarettes. Take ear-plugs if you want a good night sleep.

My husband and I booked into the Premier Inn, very last minute, 12:45pm on Thursday. Luckily they had availability for the 2 nights we wanted (Thursday and Friday).

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was 2pm so we had a bit of a wait but we had lunch in the Beefeater. The receptionist was able to provide cards for the local taxi companies and advised that it would cost about £5 to get into town.

The room itself was nice enough, if a bit dated. It could do with a few more plug sockets as we were scrabbling round for them but that's not unusual. I'd have liked a telephone in the room so that if we did have any problems (we didn't), we could phone reception. I was suprised by the key too. Most of the Premier Inns have swipe cards.

Overall, we were very happy and would return.
