“A perfect family venue for a 70th birthday celebration.”
Reviewed 4 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. Four families consisting of babies, kids, pre-teens and adults found enough room to relax, eat and sleep comfortably. Although there are only 2 bathrooms we managed to work it out to everyone's satisfaction. The decor was beautiful but functional and practical and the owner provided welcome arrival gifts of shortbread and wine covering everyone's needs! The biggest plus to this house is the location: within 2 minutes of Whitstable High Street (with it's many shops, restaurants and cafes) opposite the harbour entrance and 2 minutes from the Swimming Baths and Bowling Alley. There is parking for 3 cars - incredible!
Perfect for any time of year: this house is an "absolute stunner " all round and would highly recommend it.

“Stylish, comfortable seaside house, great location, ideal for 8 friends sharing.”
Reviewed 15 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We enjoyed a great few days in this comfortable, warm and stylish house close to the sea and the delightful Whitstable town centre. Cycling to Herne Bay along the coastal path was a delight and we enjoyed walking in woods and visiting the Tate Margate. The Margate skies were unbelievably spectacular and constantly changing. We could see why Turner travelled to Margate so frequently to paint as the light really is special.

Our thanks to Kim and Ergin for a memorable stay in their lovely house.

“Perfect Whitstable”
Reviewed 3 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Great location - about a hundred metres from the High Street and restaurants. Parking is always a problem in Whitstable, but the house had parking space for three cars.
The house itself had plenty of space and was very nicely presented. There is a very attractive de King area in the garden perfect for evening drinks and the owners had thoughtfully left us a bottle of sparkling wine.
We will definitely rent this property again - it is perfect for an extended family visit.

“Excellent all round and the welcome gifts were an added bonus”
Reviewed 10 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Location and house was better than expected, everything was clean and felt fresh and new.

Would definitely consider booking again if returnIng to Whitstable.

Weather was excellent and we ate in the garden which is on the front of the property but hidden from passers-by because the house is below road level.

The only negative point was the windows were single glazed so you could hear some street noise.

“Great house - don't stay amywhere else!”
Reviewed 3 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Plenty of downstairs space (more than it seems from the photos) and generous bedrooms.
Beautifully furnished and decorated, it was great to be able to retreat to this lovely house when the weather got a bit rough, which it did a lot when we were there.
Plenty of parking for two fairly big cars.
Very friendly and efficient owners.
Highly recommended.

“Lovely, spacious home right next to harbour and high street”
Reviewed 23 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed here mid-July for 3 nights with my 1-year old and our extended family. Lovely big house in beautiful condition, we were all very comfortable and our little one loved exploring the house. The harbour and high street are both right next to it, less than a minute's walk away. Excellent facilities, had all the equipment we could need including dishwasher - great for when we opted to eat in. Wifi also provided, plus a selection of DVDs and books. The owner was really helpful with queries that we had prior to our stay. A couple of the chairs in the dining room were a bit wobbly but we left these to one side with a note on them when we vacated so hopefully those will be replaced or fixed. Towels were provided on top of the beds but not all beds had them, luckily we'd brought some extra towels so this wasn't an issue but otherwise would have had to share between us. The water for the showers was lukewarm initially and we had to put the temperature on the boiler up a bit, after this we had lovely hot water with no problems. Overall we had a really great experience, would not hesitate to recommend and would consider going back. Whitstable is a gorgeous town and very laid back, and the house (with off-street parking for 3 cars) made a good base for daytrips elsewhere too.

“Comfortable, luxurious, high standard”
Reviewed 29 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Went for a three night weekend with friends (four of usin total) The house was exceptional in the high standard of furnishings/beds/bathrooms/kitchen. We had amazing weather so didn't spend much time in the house, but it would have been comfortable if unable to enjoy the outside. The owner was really attentive and responded immediately to any questions. The house was spotlessly clean and had the benefit of being directly opposite the harbour with its bars and restaurants. We ate out but the facilities in the kitchen were brilliant. The big bonus was being able to park our cars in the private drive.
