“Excellent B and B”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

This was a very welcoming B and B with a big comfy tastefully decorated room and all the facilities you need. There was a big roll top freestanding bath, milk in jugs rather than dried in a packet and a good choice of dishes at breakfast time. I was just staying one night on business but would definitely return if I was ever in Chorley again.

My Mum, I and my 3 yr old stayed at the Inglewood for a family event one weekend in April and we had a fabulous experience. The bedrooms were very beautiful and comfortable as well as immaculately kept. Our ensuite bathroom was perfect size and super clean.

The evening of the party, one of the owners came to my Mum's rescue with a needle and tread. Not only did she offer the items she actually sewed up the dress for her!

In the morning we were offered an excellent variety of cereals, fruit juices, breads and jams followed by a tasty full English cooked breakfast.

We will definitely be booking again. Thank you.

Room Tip: The top floor has 2 adjoining rooms (one double, one single) with a shared ensuite. Ideal for famili...

What a great discovery. One of the best hotels never mind guest houses that I've stayed in anywhere. Fresh, airy rooms superbly furnished by an owner who obviously takes great pride in her establishment. Lovely, substantive breakfast and made very welcome. Congratulations, next time we are in the area we wouldn't consider anywhere else and recommend this B & B wholeheartedly. If ever I were to run a guest house I would aspire to the quality and standards of Inglewood.

We booked this B&B before we left America because it was near some family at the start of our trip. We were not disappointed. We had arranged to arrive early - directly from our flight into Manchester. As promised, Jackie had our room ready and we gratefully fell right asleep.
We were in room 1, on the ground floor and although it had a small bathroom, the trade-off for not having to do the stairs with our luggage was worth it. The room itself was very large and comfortable, no concerns at all.
Breakfast was excellent, as was the service. When Jackie was not on duty, Lavinia took very good care of us. As others have said, we were made to feel like family.
We stayed five nights and were very happy with our choice. We did not have a vehicle but were in walking distance of whatever we wanted to do in Chorley, including the bus and train stations.

We stayed on a Friday night, phoned an hour before and picked it due to proximity to M6.
Very nice, clean rooms, with big bed and huge bathroom for £68, including a cooked breakfast.
Incredibly helpful owner and staff, very accommodating.
Looks like other options around there are pretty limited, so this is probably a good bet.

I'm not giving this 5*s, as breakfast was pretty over cooked, and showering over the bath was a bit of a pain, but overall well recommended.

Parking, only three spaces at front of the house after jumping out to see the owner a little notice tells you where other spaces are! Shown to my room nice and clean with enough space to move around. A very comfortable bed a good night sleep was had, a large shower room with a good shower the only thing what let the room down was the poor wifi.
Breakfast was excellent lots of choice I counted 30 cereal on offer as well as yogurts and fruit the only thing what let me down was the slow service asked for a coffee waited 20 minutes and still waiting!
All in a excellent B&B

Spent one night at the Inglewood and fell in love with the place. We were made to ffel very welcome from the ouset by a lovely lady who was standing in for the owner.
Our room was on the ground floor and was beautifull with a huge bed, large windows, tastfully decorated and a small shower room. The breakfast was lovely and ample.
Inglewood is in a nice area and just a 5 minute walk to the town centre and some nice places to eat.
Will definitely go back and would highly recommend.
