Very basic accomodation . Clean but nothing special. We were recommended this hotel by a friend who was having a celebration close by, The hotel was clean enough but very noisy with guests keeping us awake all night, We paid £10 extra for a late check out but this was pointless as we were woken by other guests having breakfast or checking out! £30 per room cheap and cheerful but noisy
On check in the receptionist carried on reading her newspaper whilst dealing with our check in!

Nice clean and comfortable hotel close to Blackpool and Manchester. £60 or 2 nights was a complete bargain. The only thing that let this hotel down was the poor shower pressure. t took me over 30minutes to shower the kids as the water was dribbling out. Might have just been the shower in our room. Overall, good stay at a reasonable price

We stayed here overnight on a drive between Glasgow and Brighton. Not a bad hotel, a little run down but the rooms were clean to a decent standard, the bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. The bathtub had a bit of rust in in from the plug hole and the tap but apart from that the bathroom was clean and of an acceptable standard. We stayed on a Tuesday night and it was quiet and we had a perfectly good night's sleep. The one thing that could be improved would be to install temperature controls, the room was very warm and the only way to cool it down was to open the window, unfortunately letting in the noise from the M6 which is very close to the hotel.

was good value . rooms ok, though usual paper thin walls that result in being able to hear next door snoring all night.. that aside, free broadband, clean rooms and good price.. perfect for stop over whilst travelling. will stay again if price remains the same.. its not the ritz, but its ok.

Good enough for a one night stop over very handy placed on M6. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and tidy. A wee bit dated and this is why I've rated it as average. Best bit about this place is the WiFi is really good it is free which is a must for the business traveller. There is a restaurant on site and bar the food is basic and acceptable. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. I had a slight problem with my room and it was sorted out immediately and with good grace. The young lad on reception was really helpful and offered to help with my bags.
Yes I would stay here again. It is good value. Would love it if they did a tiny wee re-furb.

I'm a regular visitor to this hotel. The staff bend over backwards to help, and are very friendly.

However, the place is an absolute dump. Holes in carpets. Mildew on bathrooms. Appalling, horrrendous food. Juice at breakfast is re-constituted and is foul. The bread is way too big for the toaster. Continental breakfast is basically jam or Philadelphia. The fruit is wrinkled and elderly. The whole place feels as if it's about to fall down. Please, Day's Inn, spend some cash on this place. The staff deserve it.

Overall impression is that this room is in need of some TLC. The curtain was hanging dowm as 4 of the hooks were missing.
The mattress I think had seen better days. In the bathroom there was hair in the bath that was not ours and the pipe behind the toilet was filthy. The ceiling in the bathroom particularly when viewed from laying in the bath needs a lick of paint. On the positive side the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, loafs of hot water and no noise from the motorway
