“Consistently great food and amazing value”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

Chose to go here instead of overpriced top Spinners, so glad we did. £9.95 3 course set menu with lots of choice and added a quarter crispy duck. 2 pints and pot Chinese tea came to under £35. Great service but most importantly ace food. Yes the decor could be improved but based on taste and value it's a sure win for us

“Excellent!”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

The decor gives the feel of a Chinese restaurant from 25 years ago but this gives it a certain cosy charm. The staff are pleasant and the service is always efficient - been here many times. The food is fantastic and the weekday menu coming in at under £10 is amazing value. Highly recommended.

“Great and prices”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

We came here for my aunts 80th and had a lovely meal ,there was 9 of us in total and we all had a variety of meals off the menu, the special happy village banquet was chosen by me and my husband and was absolutely the best banquet I've tasted in years, the staff are very polite and attentive as was our host Sharon, the restraunt is only small but very inviting and comfortable and you can park right out side to.
The food was piping hot and the duck is to die for ,an absolute must have
We will definatly be returning to this restraunt

“Great food at value for money prices”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

This is our second visit here, after recently discovering this little gem quite by chance. We would happily go more often, but our 12-yr old isn't particularly into Chinese food, so we can only go when he's doing a sleepover at a friends house or some other such activity. We ate from the set menu - there's a range of options on that as well as a la carte - but the £25 for 2 people did the job nicely for us. That included, soup, spare ribs, spring roles and 2 main courses. All in, including 2 rounds of drinks, it was £33, which I thought was excellent value for money. The food quality was very good, tasty and served by very pleasant staff. Highly recommended!
